it's crootin season. They come out of the woodwork until early Feb then rarely post except Bruiser of course.

OMlawdog said:It just sucks that the longest threads on this board usually involved the words recruiting or cheating.
It just seems that posters that used to play the cheating card were called out on this board as lunatic fringe posters, now it seems those posters are the majority.
I also think our lunatic fans who think if we sign Channing Ward think a Sugga Bowl is right around the corner are just as bad.
I hoped for Leach, but would've gladly taken Hudspeth when his name was mentioned. Wasn't sure about Freeze but wanted him more than Smart.Did you also miss Bear alums saying their next coach would be
Leach/Meyer/Tressell/RichRod and then collectively turn their noses up
at Hudspeth/Feeze?

I hate recrootin. But I love football more. But after the bowl game* is over, there's jus
t no local college football to talk about but recrootin.
*Egg Bowl if you are a Bear fan

You see I never see those posts from our fans, but I'm not on the spirit so maybe thats why.
1) A few on the fringe think any player we don't get is because y'all cheated. The rest of us just wish you and your compatriots could realize they are the fringe. <div>2) Come on, you have to admit that Channing Ward is already this year's winner of the CJ Johnson/Jermaine Whitehead award for most obvious comments ever. I'm not asking you to out and out admit that it seems like it's going on, just for y'all to quit acting like it's not obvious. You could, you know, just not comment on it. When someone says something like that, expecting people not to talk about it is unrealistic.</div><div>OMlawdog said:Just like the old egg bowl board things will pick up around here through signing day.
I figured you would like it, views have to be up based on allegations of cheating for basically every in state player on behalf of Ole Mi$$.
If you wanted to not let the board end up going the way of the Finebaum show you could, but you won't because arguing about how Ole Mi$$ has basically given Channing Ward's brother an honorary doctorate, and degrees to everyone in his extended family in order to have him go against every natural instinct he has to sign with the school he really wants to which is MSU.

maroonmania said:over 50% of the posts in ANY recruiting thread being from OM fans. Its obvious they care much more about recruiting than any other real season (including the actual football games) because we don't have this many OM posters talking football during Egg Bowl week. Just another reason I DO believe that OM cheats at recruiting at a much higher level than MSU BECAUSE they care about it so much. There is no braggin' Bear like one over here crowing about recruiting or what they think they know about recruiting.
