The Winston Legend at 'Free Shoes Univ' grows ...

The original story said that Winston was arrested, but a source with Tallahassee Police says that it is being classified as a citation, and not an arrest.

"He got an adult civil citation," a trusted source inside Tallahasse Police told Tomahawk Nation. "If he completes the sanctions it will never show up on his record. They commonly give them to juveniles on first criminal offenses. They are now doing it for minor misdemeanors for adults to lower crime rate"

Nothing to see here ... Move along

@CregStephenson: They should throw him in the Dungeness … RT @BunkiePerkins: Shellfish act on Winston’s part.

These puns seem like they were custom-made for my avatar.

You've got to give it to them. That's a pretty ingenious way to lower the crime rate. Just quit classifying misdemeanors as crimes.

Can only imagine how much the police pressured those crab legs not to come forward. #FSU

"I said to the crab, 'Are you stolen?' He said, 'I'm stolen if you steal me.' I said, 'You stolen then.'"

RT @BrianHamiltonSI: Really wonder about Jameis Winston's decision making. This entire episode was high-bisque, low reward

I think I now better understand how the local Memphis crime rates have improved over the last 5 years as well. It's so ridiculous that all I can do is laugh. City politics at its finest...

I don't like the overuse of this word, but if he's not a 'thug' I don't know what is. Shooting out windows with a BB gun his freshman year, the drink stealing, rape and crabs. Ever his is unauthentic, faux, put-on heisman speech I couldn't stand the guy.

clearly it is, and that is the latest rumor..

that the Publix frequently gave players free handouts and this was routine for him. Someone didn't get the message and called the police. If that is the case, then he took one for the team. Shame on you guys for calling this honorable guy a thug.

crabs than have someone give them to him.

Y'all got it all wrong. Jameis took the crabs out the backdoor. He said he would come back with some money to pay them. He didn't return and publix felt used and scorned. Therefore Publix called the TallaPo and reported to them that they felt victimized by Jameis taking their crabs without paying for the crabs.

Jameis was all like "why buy the crabs when I get the legs for free?"

Sounds like an NCAA infraction. Time for a full investigation. MSU would get a 2 year probation.
