I admire the way you support your team if JK is your team, but i hate to see you get upset when you lose. Are you sure you don't want to put some money on it like TD2 did. If you don't. i understand because i know you don't want to lose 50$. I would even give you the same 7 points also. Hit me back and let me know.

Jk is not my team. Swo but we are down, seen JK play, might surprise some folks Friday night
I saw where it is suppose to rain in Whiteville friday night. Could cause a lot of problems for both teams with a wet football. Maybe it will hold off so we can get it in. Would hate to see either team lose because of a lot of turnovers. I would like to see both teams play their best so their would be no doubt which team is the better team and advance to the next round.
I have a feeling this is going to be a better game than some might think!
Coach Price and his team are really looking forward to the James Kenan crowd and team coming to Legion stadium Friday night. Look for James Kenan to score first, but the Pack to win going away in the 2nd half.
i,m no fan of either team but i do believe this jk team will be the best team they have played this year it will not be a 65 to 0 game for whiteville but i pretty sure whiteville will win i think jk is getting better each week bit i think they are a year away from being a really strong team i'll find out friday if i know what i'm talking about.
Not sure but don't think ED has played at Whiteville before but Whiteville has been to ED
I remember playing ED in a playoff game and lost, but it was a verry good game. I talked to Brian after the game and he said that it was the most physical game he had ever been in.
I am pretty sure we have been to East Duplin 3 times . 87 went back in 88 or 89. Won those 2. Lost our last trip there several years later. So 2-1

Whiteville won against just about everyone with Chester. That dude was a freaking beast even in high school.
Crazy he’s not with us anymore. Was a very strong supporter of the Wolfpack after he was in the NFL.
He was a man playing with boys. I would say he is the best player to ever come out of the east, maybe the state. Made all pro in NFL i think 4 0r 5 times.
Whiteville won the 3rd round game in 87 at ED 32-0. Game was 6-0 at the half. Chester McGlockton playing TE made one of greatest catches I ever saw taking a slant pass thrown slightly behind him with one hand and then bringing it around his head on the run. Finally was tackled inside the 10 yard line. I think he caught a couple of passes that night. Just a tremendous player. One of the best I ever saw. That 87 team was special. 5-6 D1 players on that team.
The next season in a first round game at ED, Whiteville won 34-22.
2002 was a second round game at ED won by the Panthers by 10 or so.
I think this is the first meeting between JK and Whiteville.
Whiteville and Wallace were regular playoff foes in the 80s. Most of the time the Pack was victorious. 87 was a first round game, 88 a 2nd, and I think there were a couple of other meetings in the mid 80s. Back then the ECC was matched up with the Waccamaw in the pre-determined brackets.

JK, just pass the football. If you can establish a passing game, you hang in there. If you can't throw the ball, you in trouble.
JK beat Whiteville 17-7 in the 3rd round in 2013 en route to win the state championship. Game was played at JK.
Don't believe the hype, JK will be able to move the ball on the ground as well as through the air. The only team that was able to stop us from running the ball was ED, and that was the 2nd game of the season and we had players in Covid protocol. So we'll be fine, there's no doubt in my mind that we will move the ball on them. Whiteville is about to be in a battle, one that they haven't experienced all season. My biggest concern is that there is no school the rest of this week and sometimes that can hurt a road team especially in the playoffs.
I believe you may move the ball some in the air, but not on the ground. I think we are only giving up 50 yards or less on the ground per game. If you do i will be the first to say congrats. I know JK has a good team and i have always respected them. I have even been to their house and watched them play many games.
Yep you are right. How could i forget about him. Is he still playing in the NFL. I know after he got hurt he was released by the Rams and i believed picked up by Atlanta, but have not seen him this year.
South Columbus went to Tarboro I believe 2002 Willie Gore defense held him to 50 yards rushing. South lost game but did a good job on him that night.South might have won not sure, but he was one heck of a player.
South was up 10-0 with about 9 minutes to go and punted from their two yard line, Tarboro fumbled the punt and South recovered but the officials said the South punters knee hit the ground and Tarboro gets ball on two yard line and scores next play. South has ball on about 50 yard line with 4th and 1 and decide to punt. Tarboro completes it’s only pass of the game and it goes from about the 25 to around the 20 and they end up scoring with about a minute left and win the game 13-10, I think but not positive, and then Tarboro blows out the other team the next weekend in the State Championship. That one still stings but the defense did an incredible job on Hurley that night.

That year had to be several years later than 2002. Gurley came several years later.
Getting closer to Friday night. Pack had a great practice this morning and the boys are chomping at the bits to get on the field Friday night. Worked on several different offence and defense plays. JK will see things they have never seen before on a football field.

Man i knew you would come back. They have 3 believe it or not. All 3 have over 1000 yards. Then they have a 250 pound back they sometimes use as a blocker and runner that goes about 10 yards a pop. You do not want to see him coming at you. Have seen players get out of his way because they wanted nothing to do with him. He starts at DT and is a 2nd year player. Started as a freshman.

James Kenan offense is nothing to sneeze at the double wing t spread is something serious the don’t run that in Nc mostly out west from Az To Cali and all in between!! I promise u whiteville d will be confused as to who has the ball all that misdirection and movement will get them at times jk passing game is lethal and it’s been said whiteville pass coverage is suspect long routes short routes post routes they are gonna spread them out 3 wides four wides and give u all u want no if no and his dad never seen this except for on film it’s gonna be tough beating a offense u only seen on film the players will c something they never seen before and have to adapt in game to stop it!! I have the score jk 24-21 maybe I’m wrong jk has big boys to on defense and speed!! So we will c!!
E Wayne, ED and WRH all seemed to figure it out. An EB had it figured out until very late in the game, so you are right we will see, still think JK will score first but Whiteville will pull away.
