Javon is really happen with the decision that he made. In my opinion that is great. It will be his life to live for 4 or 5 years. Being 2 hours from me, I get to watch Smooth play often.

He did have a NCCU offer. We visited there and a one time they were the school to beat. JC Smith just offered more of what he was looking for.

Do you mean Javon's older brother Jaylend Ratliffe? If so he is doing fine. He is currently enrolled at GT and is a student coach with the football team.

Really? The money comment is uncalled for. Can you not just be happy for the kid because he gets a college education while getting to continue to play the game that he loves? JC Smith offers a chance to see the field sooner and plain and simple he feels it is the best place for him.
