JK vs ED thoughts

Last time ED saw the single wing (2 weeks ago) they gave up 58 points to Princeton. Not saying JK will run it as well as Princeton does, but if I am ED, I would be very concerned. Maybe seeing it already this year will help?
Neither has played the best competition so far. One common opponent (Dixon) and the scores were similar. Princeton is a well-oiled machine offensively but appear to be lacking on defense. JK has played AG and Eastern Wayne and neither are very good at all.
The game to me is a true toss up. JK coming off the open date should be well prepared, ED is playing at home.
Winner gets a huge early conference win against a county rival. Loser has an uphill climb.

I think and hope ED has made some changes since then. JK has a very good team. It will definitely be a good close game.
I dont think JKs Offensive line is as huge and dominant as Princeton is/was so idk. I agree that you'd think we'd make some adjustments after that performance though so we'll see.
Maybe so but its easily strongest o line JK has had in years. Way bigger than they look on paper
I've said it before and I'll say it again, ED is more athletic than Princeton. Their sheer size was the difference in that game that simply wore down and kept pounding over the Panthers. Somehow I doubt that JK has that kind of size.
JK has nice size and way more athletes than ED. If JK has less than 150 penalty yards, (we know how it is at ED) JK should win by 2 or more tds.
Don’t think JK can stop ED offense. I know it was Princeton but ED’s defense did give up over 600 yds. JK’s offense looks legit
I think ED will be just fine and I still believe it will be ED or Wrh for the conference. JK has to prove itself first
Don’t think JK will be under any pressure to prove themselves. ED on the other hand better not come out tight. Could be the county teams end 5-1 in conference.

LOL!!! I was trying to be nice about this but man 2 or more TDs. You really setting yourself up for a big disappointment. But have at it.
I won't be disappointed, I don't believe that ED can slow down JK's offense, neither do I think that they can run on JK's defense. The only concern I have is ED passing attack.

Tiger21. I have a serious question for you. I can understand why you think JK can move the ball on ED after what happened at Princeton. Although I think you will be fooled but I get it But why do you believe you are going to shut down EDs offense and basically blow them out. Going back all the way through last year nobody has held EDs offense under at least the 30s including JK other than the 2 games with Wallace that were just slugfests that both game could of went either way. We all know this basically ED has the same players as last year other than QB and some lineman. And telling you this offense is much better than last year. And JK has played some bad teams and giving up a decent amount of points other than Dixon. And don't say it was against the subs because that wouldn't be true. So why do you think JK is going to shut down ED and blow them out by 2 or more TDs? Seriously
Give me ED +14 and I’ll wager whatever you’d like.

I don't think ED offense is better than last season, because of the linemen. They are more versatile, but not better. ED has played some bad teams including Princeton, (Rosewood game showed that). Jk is a lot better than last year, when we played ED last year we didn't have all of our players due to Covid, but that has nothing to do with this game. The points JK has given up, two kickoff returns to AG, and Eastern Wayne had to go to the air, but we figured that out and held them to 6 points in the second half. JK is bigger up front and more athletic. I only think it will be a two or more tds victory, if the penalty yards a under 100+. But hey I have been wrong before, but from what I've seen from both teams, I think JK is the better all around team.

I think maybe you're making comparisons strictly from scoreboards. Princeton is huge and (can't say for sure) but I doubt JK is that big. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think when Friday night gets here you'll be surprised by ED.
This game should be interesting... Always fun to see these two go at it sometimes I think ole jk plays better against east duplin than wrh especially on the road... But I don't really see a blow out in this game but I don't see it being a high scoring affair either.... Both teams will be ready for this matchup as one it will put either team in the best position possible for a conference title...and two it's still a rivalry game... I think ed will win but not by alot but I really wouldn't be extremely surprised if jk pulls the upset either... But that's why the game is played on the field and not on paper
Nah, I it was a late hit on a Jk player, and EW had 3 players ejected, I think. None from Jk was

Pride21, 31. I think JK is capable of beating WRH. Especially if WRH beats ED the week before. I got to go with ED in this game, tho. If ED doesn’t lose the turnover battle then sould win by 14+. ED doesn’t turn the ball over. Princeton game was a big learning experience for those Panther’s. JK will learn a lot from this game. ED 49-32. Buy the way, I’m not saying I think y’all will win against us and not saying we got ED game cause I know we don’t

How am I talking like we are world beaters, because I think that we are better than ED, and that I believe that we are going to beat them? Come on now, you're acting as if ED are world beaters. Dixon, Richlands, and Croatan, yeah crown them. Eastern Wayne would beat those 3 on the same night.
Oh I know! But Croatan held that machine to 42. And believe me Croatan didn't have anything. I couldn't believe that were their varsity team.
