Unless Wilson leaving has an impact I'd agree about Shumpert. I spoke
with someone very close to him during the last week. Ole Miss has been putting the full court press on him and UGA is still in the pic but State has the edge at this point. He feels more comfortable at State, knows several of the players and feels more at home in Starkville. Now, things can change quickly in recruiting as we all know. I was told if he had to commit today it would be State, however it's not NSD.

There is one thing I am 100 percent sure about and you can take it to the bank. After taking recruits to events and games years ago you never can predict an 18 year old. I was active in recruiting a player (friend of the family for years) told me up to signing day he was going to MSU. Signed with Alabama. His dad was a fanatical State fan. When I asked him why he pulled the switch-a-roo he said he didn't want pressure from his dad. So u NEVER know for sure till they sign.

think about it again. Brassell didnt make any difference when he was there and could come back and be all world for them, but didnt turn out nearly as valuable as others.
CJ Johnson is every bit as valuable and more.
Singleton. Never panned out for them.
THere were others on the team that committed to them, but I'm assuming the drama over these 3 is what had you so twisted.
I think it's not a matter of who 'switches'. It's a matter of how much faith you have that our coaches will utilze who they do get.
Said another way.........17 anyone who signs with them. 17 them and their money grabbing parents. And while we are at it, 17 us for not bringing a big enough bag of money to the table.
