Next man up. Could be interesting off season if Taylor, Wilbon, and Stevenson all depart after the season.

If the kid is another Pelini cancer then he should move on.

Too bad if true....I don't know the full situation other than he was hosed by Wisconsin and he was a very very late addition to the team....

Hasn't shown much so far, but his opportunities beyond KR have been limited.

Well he wants to play, and could very well be the best runner we have, but pass pro is the only real important skill for this offense, so we get Newby and a sucky ground game instead.

Kid should go where he can get real playing time with a team that actually runs the ball. I can't fault him for that.

Agree with this completely. If pass protection is such a mess, then the coaches need to examine how they are teaching and why none of the other backs seem to be picking it up. You can't tell me we don't have talented enough athletes back there. 9 games in man. Give someone else a shot. This guy could be a huge piece of our offense over the next few years.

What the hell are you talking about?

We have played Newby, Cross, Oz, and Jano at RB. Taylor is done. Wilbon is sitting for off-the-field issues.

Newby is our best all-around back so he is getting the most repetitions.

Then I can see why JS is frustrated. 3 backs and a FB and no one can get anything going. I'd be frustrated if I were the kid too, especially if I was confident in my abilities to contribute. I know there are issues at OL. I'm not at practice so I don't see RBs getting reps. Taylor didn't look done in the spring game IMO, and I have no idea what Wilbon did. Excited about the future of this team. And want this kid to be a part of it.

I agree a little bit, but the kid has acted like a spoiled child since he got here. Hell yes he has talent, but good lord. Ultimatums, and all of the other baggage is annoying. He has a grand opportunity to be the guy next year if he works hard, and learns the system this year, but instead of hardwork and dedication, he wants something given to him and is bouncing (allegedly). If you N, be all N. If not... SEE YA>

Ugh. I hope that's not the kid's attitude. He could be great here.

I like JS as a runner, great burst. But his entire time in Lincoln has been very, very odd.

When I saw that he wanted to burn his redshirt 6 games into the season, I suspected that Wisconsin's admissions department was probably accurate in their assessment of this kid's intelligence. Sorry to say that, but he just doesn't seem to be playing with a full deck of cards upstairs.

I wish him the best, but I suspect he'll run into drama wherever he goes due to his attitude. Also just saw that Finnin has left the team, as well.

have no idea what happened in wisconson, but, wouldn't surprise me at all if he didn't cause a pretty big headache up there while trying to get accepted. this all seemed a little odd to me (coming in outta shape/pulling redshirt). sounds like this kid needs to do some "looking in the mirror". hope he finds peace in his next venture.

Pelini cancer? He was a late add by Riley.
Forgot he was a late add. The KO returns improved last week with his demotion/sickness. This kind of stuff can happen when someone joins as late as he did and arrived out of shape.
Kid looked good on film and paper but the staff didn't have much time to look into his attitude due to the quick process.

Pass protection might be an issue with him, but the first thoughts both Davis and Riley threw out about him was he just didn't know the offense very well.

Something that is puzzling for a young man that wanted to play this year, and had half a season to sit around and learn it if he was so inclined.

If pass pro is so darn important and the OC could care less about running the ball put a freaking linemen back there.

Yes this is a stupid comment and it's to prove a point about our OC.

What I saw on his film from last year versus what I heard he was showing this year was a very different prospect. I wish him the best in whatever he does but fear this does not portend well for him.

You are an idiot. Blame Bo for everything. He was a Freshman, late signee and a Riley recruit

Yes that was completely out of left field for me anyways. Didn't see that comming, dude shows up late, grts red shirt pulled, plays some kick return and now he bounces and we are barely passed mid way threw the season. Wish we could of seen play some RB first and seen what he could of done first.
