Just looked at live RPI and we lose a game …

last night to #1 RPI Ark on the road and we drop 5 spots.
WTF ??
So if we win tonight do we gain maybe 3 back ?

We were a lot closer to teams below us yesterday than teams above us. Today is the reverse. Loss wouldn’t move us down much, but win would move us up.

Pay attention to the ratings, not the rankings. If a bunch of teams are bunched close together, you can drop a little in the rating and fall below all of them.
