See dude you don’t even see it , if you are not racist you don’t care what the skin color is , the fact that you get mad about the fact someone who is white which is skin color doing anything proves that you have assumptions about people. Assembly on their skin color which is racist .. I think because you still haven’t defined it
How is not wanting to hear from someone who would have no idea or experience with it racist? If a white person wants to have a discussion on race, slavery and so forth I have no issue and actually welcome it. If they start telling me about my racial experiences, how I should feel about them, blaming me for them, trying to tell me it is something else it total ******** and ignorant considering they have no experience living as a black person. If a women did not want to hear from a man about the pains of childbirth, considering he would never actually know about it, would she then be sexist?

Well, I have been called the N word by white people more times than I could ever count. I have been told I am less of a person because of my skin color. Growing up there were multiple places I could not attend simply because of my skin color. I am an avid golfer. I have been told I can't play certain courses in the past because I was black. My kids were told they weren't allowed to play with some white kids simply because they were black. I have had neighbors in my past tell me I should not be allowed to live in their neighborhood because I was black. I have had women tell me they could not date me or introduce me to their parents because I was black. I have paid more in insurance because I was black. Ohh, and the family member that I had killed in shooting by white supremacist Dylan Roof. These are just a few of them. But yes, you are right, all that was in my head.
First, I'd like to know your real age. Some of the things you're stating haven't happened in decades. Those things are horrible but they aren't oppression in the way you are using it. What I want to hear is how you were stopped from getting any education you wanted or denied a job or promotions simply because of your race. That doesn't exist anymore and my evidence of that is the large and growing number of affluent, wealthy blacks in this country. Dr. Ben Carson experienced most of the same things but he wasn't oppressed. He succeeded in a huge way after growing up in the projects. Anyone can find success in this country. The only thing holding them back, whether they want to admit it or not, is almost always themselves.

How do you know that person didn’t have any experience . Again why haven’t you gone to a civil rights activist like Ricky jones , I’m telling you , you would be known

But it never stopped you from talking about my Dad. Hmmm...is that part of your double standard? I will pass on you now going forward. One adage I use and try to adhere to is to not cast my pearls before swine. (If that fits you it is a bad thing. I hope it doesn't but you be good.)

You poor soul. Reading your posts it is obvious you are one miserable pathetic being. Instead of being grateful and thankful God allowed you to be born in this country in the time period you were born you go way back to the dark past and wallow around in the mud of despair. Be thankful you were not born in Africa and some African Chief sold you into slavery or if you were not worth buying, killed you. That is part of your history and thank God you dodged that. Or you could have been killed in the womb by a mother who thought your birth would mess with her lifestyle. Your mama gave birth so be thankful and celebrate a nation that extends opportunity and protection of your rights. Your ancestors may not have been that blessed. And I doubt they complained near as much as you
Being born during segregation should be a blessing? I should thank God for being targeted and ridiculed for my skin color?

What would it take for this thread to be deleted? Someone needs to jump on the grenade and take a ban for the team.

(It can’t be me. I’m too important to the board, or course.)

I've had some success getting these threads deleted in the past.

The racializers will eventually get very nasty in their name calling, so just keep prodding them with reality and they lose their marbles.

God loves you even if white folks don't. He is no judge of color. Try it.

So yes be thankful you were born into the United States of America. Be thankful you were not born in Africa where slavery exists to this day and where a history of selling their own people into slavery is part of the culture. You are blessed.

Not sure about what it would take but several do need their posting rights removed for a while. They have some real demented takes on life and living. I just put one poster on ignore solely because I will not waste any more time with him. He is a trouble-maker and is posting just to make trouble. No other way to take him. (Only poster I have on ignore not that it matters but I do not like to waste my time. At 57 the time goes by too quickly.)

Please tell us about your experience with racism I want to hear.

That would be antisemitism and it is a problem no doubt. And yes, you will find many Jews who complain about it today.

White Jews are still white, and last time I checked you couldn't identify a Jew strictly by skin tone could you?
My daughter is in an interracial marriage. Her husband's family lives in Memphis and on a recent visit they went to the MLK museum ...before they left they were both livid because she said she had never been called so many names before in her life. So we don't need all this BS by guys that are hypocrites like CK when this most definitely a two way street with all the race hustlers that get way to much air time in this country.

You would just say I as lying because it doesn't fit the narrative you choose to believe.

Well, considering I was limited in the schools I could attend growing up to black only there were many limits on the education I could get. We had crappy, dilapidated school buildings. Torn and damaged book if we even had any and some of the worst teachers that were sent to segregated school. So no, that was far from fair or equal.

I have been passed over for jobs and promotions because of race. Some of the places I wanted to work growing up did not employ black people.

If anyone can find success, why isn't everyone a success. Most people want it and work for it and still never really get it. Obama was considered a success for a black man, are you honestly ignorant enough to say he did not deal with racism almost daily? What do success and racism have to do with one another? You can still face racism and be successful. That does not mitigate the racism and it's existence. Nor does it make it okay to ignore.

No doubt! But I am talking about America and the racist white people who live in it.

You know not all of Africa is like that, right?

Sad. Have a cousin with similar story...they moved to ATL from Lou because they thought it'd be easier on their future kids...the lighter skinned kids had a terrible time with bullying down there.

Obama became the President of the United States. I think that proves a lack of white oppression. Racism is a different thing and will always exist. There are plenty of racist blacks too.

I could not careless what their skin color is. And I am definitely not mad at them for being white. I am only mad when white people try to tell black men about racism; trying to tell them they really aren't experiencing it and how they should really feel about it. And essentially blaming them for it. I don't hate men either as I am one, but I do get angry when men try to tell women about childbirth or manage their bodies and reproductive systems. But using your logic I am sexist against men.
We'll go to hell then. And who gives and eff about your feelings anyway, about what makes you mad. If blacks are so damn sensitive that they are intolerant to perspectives other than that of their own skin color then they are absolutely the most racist and bigoted.

Yep, you got us, 1 bi-racial president over the course of 45 proved racism is no longer. Screw the fact he dealt with racism his entire presidency and afterwards. Screw the birther conspiracy fueled by Trump. Screw the fact his wife and daughters were compared to apes. He was president so therefore racism is dead. By your own words and logic, we are definitely once sexist *** country then.

These bigots think there are vast swaths of racist people roaming the streets in America just waiting for their opportunity to exercise some phantom privilege and authority on lesser people.

No, the reality is these racializers need to fix themselvesfirst , then maybe we can actually start talking about fixing real problems.

What perspective. How can a white person give a black person perspective on what it's like to be black or live as a black person? It isn't physically possible.

As a man, would you tell a women what it is like to be pregnant and give birth to a child? If you did, would you honestly expect her to listen or take you even remotely serious?

This will be a very unpopular opinion, but it is more likely black kids will be accepted in a white community vs the opposite. It is socially acceptable in this country for black people to hate white people. While there are definitely white racists, it is not socially acceptable by any group of people.

Because blacks in North America were not the only people in the history of the world to have been slaves, and not of those currently living have been. You are a moron.

I have been to the African American museum in DC several times and never have had an issue. Got several races running around my home. (I'm a white dude from the deep dark jungles of Detroit.)

And that makes it all okay how? Nah, I was just alive during segregation, pre-civil rights.

You do realize slavery still exist in the world and America, right? It may no longer be targeted to blacks, and it typically is sex slavery nowadays, so yes, there are still slaves today.

If you think I am a moron, what does that say about you for arguing with me for 2 days on here?

I tried but to no avail. (I do not hate him. I do wish him some good luck. He's going to need it with that outlook.

(An aside; I'd make him livid if I told him who was sitting to the left and right of that cake in my avatar. (I took the picture) He'd swear I was lying.) That picture was taken in a prime steak and seafood restaurant in San Antonio Texas.

Have had hemorrhoid surgery...trust me if childbirth is any worse than that I would never have children!!!! LOL, although for two and a half months nothing was funny.
