They were way down last year with a 5-5 record, the JV were way down, and the improvement of downtown hasn't brought any good athletes to the program. Still haven't had a losing record since 1976. Maybe, i am wrong, but i don't see Kannapolis being world beaters in 2022. Any other thoughts?

If the backup QB returns for this next season they may have good season. But I don’t know who all they are losing and who is coming back. If they can have some keys players coming back along with that QB they may surprise some teams.

23 seniors is what i count, cant say for sure but with 8-9 guys playing both ways, i count 8 starters on Defense that are gone and 7 different players on offense that i saw play that are seniors gone, alot played special teams as well, its easier to say i believe they have 3 on D coming back, 2 on offense and then the backup Qb that played i believe the last 2 games and a jv that went 2-7 i think.

I have to think maybe Covid situation had thrown some schools out of sync. I know Statesville didn’t have a JV team and some other schools as well. Hopefully we will see things get back to more normal in the future. AL Brown JVs was really down last season as to what I seen of them. We will see how things look when the seasons starts back.
