Kannapolis @ South Caldwell

South Caldwell has the best college prospect in the state. Most likely he will attend Florida State but has many SEC offers. Him at 80 percent effort is enough for kids to run from him. His name is Landon Dickerson. I think he graduates in January from high school so he might enroll early. Kid is a freak lineman.
South doesn't pass at all. Maybe three times a game. Run a basic offense. No real speed on either side of the ball but they are very disciplined. Played a soft non conference schedule of 2A teams and a county 3A team that has 2A numbers. No need for anything other than man coverage at the corner and stack th box. They don't run on the edges very much. K-town would be heavily favored.

To be a Devils fan...either NC or Maiden you always seem to be on a board South is involved in. And it's always something about their schedule out of conference. They have to play West. AC is a 4A school and Maiden is a pretty good team as well even at 2A. The Bandys switch from AC Reynolds hurt but in this area it isn't possible to have an awfully hard schedule. Just annoying that all you say is stuff about that. Like your post that HPC would win cause the aren't 2A? South is at least undefeated against their 4A competition so go back to your own teams board.

Undefeated against 4A. Counting he playoffs that would be two teams. Go out and look for some non conference competition every year instead of playing 850 ADM teams with your 1850 students. You have three over .500 years in twenty years even scheduling down.

Look it up. Auburn, Florida State, Tenn, Alabama, all AAC teams, Stanford, Big Ten teams. They are all interested. Kid is also black belt in karate. I'll take linemen like him over any running back in the nation and make an average RB look like Derrick Henry.
Why don't you look up Dexter Lawrence and he is not a back he is a lineman as well and is listed by many as number 1 in the nation but everyone's top 10.
You know that you play in the toughest conf. in the state when you are a 12 seed. Finished 3rd in your conf.and was a favorite over a 5 seed and are favorite over a 4 seed. Look out sawmills here we come

I understand what I said Devils but the main thing I said was why are you not on a thread talking about your own team? Must not be much to talk about since you try to get on here and talk smack about us. Must say alot about your program. There are 3...again 3 4A schools within an hour of here. So I don't worry about why they schedule teams over an hour away. School wouldn't pay the gas for them to go there anyways.
Anyways, nothing to really worry about there. Friday is all that matters to the Spartans as they know they are playing the best team they have seen this year. Not giving too much info lol. We run the ball first but the qb can throw the ball pretty good. Our best rb is out with a injury. The other rb is# 31 Mccoy he is a beast he runs with power and speed. He is a army commit . Looking forward to going to south Caldwell never been there. GO WONDERS
If you will have South schedule four 4A schools next year I will play the gas bill difference between scheduling 2A schools. It will be chump change. We're talking a $125.00 difference for four games. I like you guys showing up when you win a few games using transfers from other counties, i.e. Landon Dickson from Hickory and two years ago all world Zack Pollard from St. Stephens. Good recruits. This gas excuse is lame. Schools spend that much on cookies for open house.
Stop in Hickory before you get there. Exit 125 off I-40. Its a real town.
Or you could just to the Granite Falls Brewery. I would suggest it. Very good place to eat if you have the time. Just depends on when you are leaving your area. Granite is actually a real town by definition GDG. Get with it. Let us know how Newton does this week with all those athletes over there. Maybe they can pull one out...oh wait.

Kannapolis got a good road to the 3rd round. South Caldwell will need to play perfect football to beat Kannapolis even at home.

Congrats to SC. I personally thought that Kannapolis would win this game rather easily. Game recaps from other sources cite everything from turnovers, to sub-par game management/prep as primary reasons. Others, say that Kannapolis just got ran over. Consider this win a damm fine job for the SC program and a very bad loss for Kannapolis.

AL Brown is not only a great program with tradition but a very good team this year. I was surprised at the game. South played a lot better than them. Yes turnovers kill you but 2 of 3 were stripped away and that is a product of the other team. South earned this one. I don't think Brown thought they would get resistance from South and that changed quickly. It was a very good game to just watch but from a fans perspective, South just beat them. It wasn't handed to them and Brown didn't just blow this game. I thought South earned the win. That proves they can play with some of the better competition in the state because Brown showed they could do that with their schedule.
That's why you play the games you let aa team hang around they will find a way to win south defense played a good game they was hitting hard that's why kannapolis turned the ball over AL brown is a will good team give south credit they wanted more playing after thanksgiving everybody good 4A is a lot tougher congrats Spartans
