Bull **** move by Hobbs trying to steal recruits on his way out the door.
If true sounds like a BS move if true.
But it's a common practice for assistants on the move to try and bring in talent to their new place that they were in process of trying to sign on with their old place .
HCs that change jobs seem to get some of their stars to follow them to their new place , especially now that there's no sitting out a season for transferring from one program to another.
Coaches scooping up recruits and roster players from old job to the new one is part of the college landscape now

First of all, there is no Brandon on our staff. Secondly, Brandin makes much more money than Hobbs and had been elevated over him a while ago.
I am so so sorry for misspelling his name. I can’t believe I could ever do that. I will certainly double check that next time.

The point remains the same Hobbs leaving is good for the program if we make a good hire.
