I keep saying it but Oweh doesn‘t make our team better, and that’s a horrible thing for a “star” player. He gets his, but rarely does he make UK better in the process.
I think the real issue is Pope didn’t have the team ready to come off a bench that is behind the basket.

Almost 30 mins of basketball played tonight and we have 33 points.
Aberdeen and Oweh must have bet their over tonight. All they sinus drive the paint with no idea what to do other than jack up a shot. Guys open all around the perimeter.

UK has to make a big time hire, one that will bring UK back to being the talk of college basketball. If that happens quick things could be turned around quick. If Pope is allowed to run this into the ground for another year or two, we are in store for a real rebuild that is gonna take years:

It took an absolute miracle (and mostly weak competition) for this bunch to have this winning streak. We clearly aren't any better.

Yea big boy from Vandy has got that wingspan outstretched, I didn’t know you could use your arms like that. He’s done it 3 or 4 times.
We haven’t had them but one game, so I don’t know if it does or not.

I’d bench Aberdeen the rest of the game. Reverted back to his ball hog ways. He had finally bought into his role and it sucks to see him forcing it every trip into turnovers.
