My favorite is how you waited until the game was over so you could wait and see before replying. lol. The same could be said about everyone on this team except maybe Oweh, Aberdeen, & Chandler who all have sucked plenty at times and all did tonight. Jasper has been terrible, Jelavic has been terrible. Oweh and Aberdeen were atrocious tonight. Like I said earlier, the sample size isn’t there to know what he would do shooting wise. You look at a box score. I look at how/when shots are taken. If you’re a shooter and you stand around the perimeter open as guys drive and don’t kick, it just adds more and more pressure in limited minutes when you do shoot. Noah can shoot, Jelavic can shoot, Williams can shoot. All three guys didnt have the freedom offensively to take shots because they get the ball in terrible position from 3 to shoot when they do. Thats a coaching issue. Noah is fine. If you look at per minutes played rather than per game where he may only play a few minutes here and there here’s how he stacks up against Oweh without the ball in his hands.
Oweh: Steals 0.06/min, Rebounds 0.14/min, Assist 0.05/min
Noah: Steals 0.05/min, Rebounds 0.19/min, Assist 0.05/min. Shooting splits are all better.
I’m not saying he’s close to Oweh as a player. I just picked him because he’s our best player and I’m not going through everyone. But to act like he gives nothing is ridiculous. Some of yall expect him to play 9 minutes and put up 8, 4, & 4. He’s an off the ball role player and does fine at it. But he’ll stand around the perimeter wide open for a kick out and never get it. Then has to take a contested deep shot from a pass to the wing when he does shoot and be expected to shoot 75%. You just want to pick on him because he’s not flashy and easy target as the 9th man. He’s the least of our worries.
