I get it bruh. Especially for our programs. Kings Mountain is really good though. They are the biggest threat to Dudley.
I was impressed with what Burns did tonight, too. Forestview is usually solid.
Exactly! And, I sincerely do respect the Rams as well. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t follow you guys as much as I do. Humbling loss, but we will still be in the mix. With this crappy 12 hr shift that I work, I’m just grateful that I was off, and able to catch this game, and witness such great effort by both teams. It’s going to be a fun season. I’m excited football is back!

Next week's game vs AC Reynolds is interesting. I don't think anybody expected them to beat West Forsyth 37 to 0.
I think Massy Rating had West favored by 20 and if I'm not mistaken the Rockets have a freshman at QB. I could be wroung on that , anyway should be another great game ..

Our QB is a junior, first year starting though. We played extremely well tonight in all phases. It will take another effort like that and more next week I think.
The thing I found most concerning last night was the lack of a pass rush by the Shelby D. Littlejohn had time to fry eggs back there. It was just ridiculous! Either KM’s offensive line was that good, or Shelby doesn’t have that element to their defense this season. Time will tell. #5 missed a lot of tackles, key misses. That stood out, too.

Exactly. When was the last game Shelby didn't have a sack? He was never even hurried. We also got use to having some size at linebacker. Shelbyfan any update on the Dover kid?
Losing Dover will hurt badly, if he’s out for an extended amount of time. It definitely doesn’t look promising for him to play next week. We have some major concerns right now, and that ACR win was impressive. They are obviously tough, too.

This was a hard fought game between two VERY GOOD TEAMS, when you can leave BLANTON STADIUM with a WIN that is very RARE FEAT, good lucky to THE GOLDEN LIONS the rest of the season.

No excuse intended, if that's the way you read it ,your comprehension skills need some work or my inflection on being young in spots was not properly worded. No excuses. We lost to a very good team that out played us and I gave them credit as they deserved.
Shelby’s quarterback is really good. Man I just love his game. I thought he kept his team in the game almost single handedly. Lee is so poised to be a high school quarterback. He always has his eyes down field. I keep forgetting how tall he is when he is surveying the field. Some college coach is going to get a steal with this kid.
It wasn't youth that beat Shelby last. Shelby couldn't block 9, 15, and 44 at all they all lived in our backfield. QB was running for his life all night. That was with an O line that had 4 returning starters, so youth is no excuse here.
