KM VS EL Rematch

Alot of blow outs in the first round these days, this could be one of the better 1st round matchups. I would still think KM is the favorite.
East Lincoln passes a lot. QB, two receivers, and running back are very good. QB is very poised in pocket and completes a high percentage of his passes overall. QB has 32 touchdown passes. Our defense will need to stay locked in all night. East Lincoln is always well coached. In the playoffs I just want to win by 1. Survive and advance.
I like Kings Mountain in this game. I like Kings Mountain O-line and run game with Hill against East Lincoln defensive front. EL should also allow #1 to follow #15 for KM, if not I like Kings Mountain match up against anyone else on the outside.
KM in a closer than comfortable one. Matt Beam is on that staff at EL too. He will have them prepared on offense. This game comes down to the EL O-Line. If EL has time to throw it will be interesting. They have athletes. If KM can get pressure it will not be as close.
KM in a close one and you gotta keep your eye on the influence of former Burns Coach on that EL staff because he seems to still have a ton of knowledge of the Cleveland County teams

Coach Beam knows Lloyd and he was around that KM program a lot in the off-season. Beam is not as familiar with KM’s current group of coaches. KM’s offensive and defensive schemes have completely changed from a couple of years ago.
Oh Beam knows all shutdown, just ask him

Lol! He definitely knew us two years ago. He was literally hanging out in the Fieldhouse with KM coaches prior to his current gig at EL. You don’t invite a fox to watch your hen house..
Something I have seen a little last year but more this year is the burst of speed and quickness in his moves the backup KM QB has. With the jv QB moved up, I would love to see #14 (if he is able) on punt and kickoff returns and a minimum of 5 sweeps a game at rb or lined up in the slot.
Yeah I don’t understand why he wasn’t moved to the slot position to get that speed and athleticism on the field. He would have been a good weapon to compliment our outside receivers.
Battle of the LOS in my opinion. Think both offenses can do things that can present problems for the other.

The line is where I think things take a hard swing towards KM. KM's offensive line is better than EL's defensive front, and they're defensive line is much better then EL's OL.

Coach Carroll is not Coach Wilson. Coach Carroll is much harder to scheme against and he makes excellent adjustments on the fly.

Wilson is a great guy but last season the only game he had a great defensive game plan was the KM game and that was just to load that box up

He can watch film and game plan regardless of knowing the coaches. I still think KM wins but I think EL will keep it close for a round 1 game.

Of course that what all decent coaches do. Beam had a little more knowledge than most when it came to scheme and personnel of the team he was playing.
