Paul bleeds scarlet !

He came out today as a man on a mission and delivered the senior leadership that this team needed

He scored our first 5 points when we were struggling offensively at the beginning of the game and he played with a level of composure as we all expect!

First and foremost, I hope all is ok with his eye and he can play tomorrow - probably with goggles if need be

Most importantly, lets value the kids we have and thanks once again to Paul / Caleb /Cliff / Cam / Derek /Pike and the rest of the squad to secure us dancing again 4.0.

Going to post this too. Hell of a game. Solid d-smart with the ball and those first half rebounds helped keep the game from getting out of control.

He has been rided here, much with bad intent. He deserves the praise today.

He kept us in it early and hit a couple huge 3's

Hopefully this game gets him out of his funk

The question for the entire team is exactly that. Was this a fluke or have they finally turned the corner in the post Mag world?

This was a complete team effort like we used to see earlier in the season where EVERYONE contributed something

Well said. Gotta love 8/5/5 with 3 steals (despite the 3 TOs). He maybe saved us from a blowout early on and was all over the court. Nice to see him break out of his slump and let's hope his eye is ok.

Paul was back today. We needed him. I think him being able to play fown low and hit the boards etc was key. Simpson at PG was huge
Ya think? He was finally put back in his spot to play his hustle scrap game.
Nobody yet has responded to what took Pike so long to see this while we floundered.

Defensive energy and rotations and communication looked good
They missed shots but we contested well
Love the hard fouls and loose ball aggression
I think we got our mojo back

With simpson alongside him it takes the pressure off from him as the primary ball handler and lets him just focus on spacing and taking good shots. He doesn't have to force anything.

I’ve been very critical about Paul but there’s something to be said about maybe he was just out of position. He looked much better today when Simpson was able to run the offense and Paul could just focus on being more aggressive scoring
