lmao we beat Minny in the Texas Bowl. Cuse has a 10 win season, 2 bowl wins, back to back bowl game appearances all during that time frame. Im still waiting for schiano to beat a good team. Your best coach has a career losing record. You guys going down hill.

I'll worry about Syracuse getting recruits when it's HC proves to be a competent HC
He's a great recruiter, but wasn't good enough to be a P-5 DC and not qualified enough to be G-5 DC but because of his recruiting was made coC because a P=5 program would grab him to recruit for them as a position coach.
He left Temple because Rutgers could use his recruiting skills and have Schiano oversee him coaching the DBs.
Kerby Smart hired Brown knowing he had to keep an eye on Fran's coaching, but had no problem letting him recruit on his own.
Fran Brown's claim to fame is his recruiting, coaching has not been what he's known for.
Matt Ruhle thought so much of Fran's recruiting ability he took him along to Baylor when he left Temple wand gave Brown a title in name only while making him a position coach as well.
Ruhle also brought Phil Snow from Temple to make sure Fran had help doing coaching the DBs
Brown hasn't proved he can coach or he would have been the lone DC when he went back to Temple after leaving Baylor

It takes a worried fan to go on another board to brag about hiringa great recruiter that never proved he was a good coach.
Just road the shirt tails of better coaches on his way up.

just putting effert on corecting your mistakes.
Worrying about the fruit ended when they went ACC.
My only concern now is other B1G programs , especially the B1GE ones

You on the other hand are doing a great Orange missionary work job.
Showing Rutgers isn't the only program that counts in upstate NY and how Syracuse has passed Buffalo for 3rd most popular In snow country and trying to overtake BC for #2 by hiring a great recruiter.
Even if the coaching resume is lacking a major accomplishment , Brown's recruiting is worth the gamble because Syracuse has become a place talent has avoided for awhile
