To me this LOSS should be blamed more on the lack of Offense in addition to ****** tackling by our defense. Hell, we knew Johnny Manziel was going to light it up against anybody he plays (except for LSU/Bama) so the yardage, number of plays and first downs are a wash. Nobody is going to completely shut-down the A&M offense.
But I blame this loss on Dan and Les Koenning for a complete lack of offense. We should have matched them score for score by being more creative offensively and not running the damn ball so much early on. The only way to beat A&M (If your name is not Bama or LSU) is to outscore them. Our offense made A&M's Defense look like Bama or LSU. I did not expect to win this game but I sure as hell did not expect our Offense to only score 13 mother<17>ing points on an average A&M defense - our Offense has regressed badly.
I predict our team to finish 8-4 with a win against the porkers (I could be wrong) and a loss to the bears (I hope i'm wrong). Our defense is soft and our defense can't handle spread offense teams like Tex A&M and TSUN which completely baffles me since Dan is a spread offense coach and should know what the hell teams like Troy, South Alabama and Tex A&M are doing.
