Last time of not watching HS football in N.C.

With no public HS football being played in N.C. this fall, I would have to go back to 1986 without seeing a HS football game being played in N.C. Anyone else remember the last time of not watching HS football in N. C. for the season.

1965.... been hooked ever sense..... boy do I miss it!

Funny thing about it is I didn’t really get into it until after I got out of school. The only games I went to when I was in school was when South Iredell played Mooresville. They were what I called “rivals” even though Mooresville got the best of South most of the time. I will say it is easy to get hooked into it. I’ve seen some of the best football watching these HS kids play.
