It's early in the season but Jacobson is really struggling. It's like he's a step slow with zero confidence.

9-9, 12 minutes left in first half.

Not playing well, but hanging. Hopefully those still bitching about Iowa tune in.

Really need to see Jordy finishing around the basket.

Announcers talking about how It takes time to create excellence, at UCLA, in basketball. We have a lot of fans that need to hear that.
...yes, because it's excellence we are after. You know, please just one ncaa tourney win excellent.

It's only 10 minute into the game, but I like NU's play so far. They are clearly out-manned but are playing hard, playing fearless and hanging around. Sort of opposite of what we saw earlier today.

UCLA will likely win this by double-digits, but I already tip my hat to Miles' squad for not playing scared and rolling over.

To be fair, Miles tried the quick fix with a ton of transfers and we didn't quite get there. Now he's going with build over time. Hopefully this time it works out.
I wasnt trying to diss miles.
I was pointing out the absurdity of comparing UCLA expectations with nebraskas.

Huskers can get to the rim against UCLA. Despite their great size, the Bruins don't play much defense.

What is the deal with the ticky tack fouls!! Officials blowing their whistles anticipating a foul.
They are supposedly enforcing defensive restriction, and coach craziness this year. You can still have one hand, but they are supposed to call any impeding.
As always this will all go out the window atound the start of conference play. Because refs are too ***** in general to stand up to established coaches. If they do they get pulled off games.

Huskers settling for way too many low-percentage jumpers. Show some patience and you'll get inside on these guys.

UCLA shooting 50%..seems like they're hitting about 80%. Not many empty possessions for the Bruins

I don't think Tai Webster has improved since he stepped on campus.

1-8 from 3s. Ouch. 28.6% overall. Need to keep attacking the rim.

Jordy had a better 2nd rotation on the floor. 4 points and 4 boards. If he can get 10 and 8 tonight that'd be huge for him and his confidence.

-5 on the boards. Thought it'd be worse.

Just need to settle down on the offensive end, and try to get it under 10 points by first media timeout.

They're draining 3s and Tai is holding the ball bouncing it on the perimeter trying to decide what to do. WAY too much standing around on offense. We have to make their big guys move or we might as well forfeit.
