Surry Central at Mount Airy

SC struggles bad vs pass and MA won’t resist passing it as much as they want. ? is can Central get hyped up and play or will they roll over and wait for Atkins?

Ragsdale at East Surry

The Cards was knocked down last week after all those turnovers. This week won’t get no easier as they host Ragsdale for endowment. Ragsdale is very athletic and has played tougher squads so they look at this one as a winnable game. However after last year they gotta be prepped for a battle.

Starmount at Elkin

Elks won very solid last week however it won’t be so easy as Starmount rolls upwards. I expect this to be hard fought but hard to see if Starmount can consistent or not; maybe the Forbush game opened their eyes.

Walkertown at West Stokes

West is jamming right now while Walkertown is struggling to stay consistent. Last year West shot theirselves in the foot a few drives before putting it away as Walkertown fell into the abyss. This year Walkertown is more competitive but they need a solid performance to prep them for conference. That may happen but I don’t see them winning here.

Bartlett Yancy at South Stokes

South badly needs a boost and this might be the week to do it. BY is struggling as they have only a win and a bunch of lambasted loses. BY and South has always had some interesting games so I expect this to be another one.

Forbush at Carver

Hard to pick a winner here. Carver’s offense has been rough to watch as they have switched around formations trying to find a spark but no avail yet. Forbush meanwhile is trying to become more consistent after a rough loss. Carver has a solid edge at home due to their rep but Forbush beat them on JV there last year so they know how to get it done. Carver will have the speed edge by far but can the ‘Bush keep the ball away enough and get enough points to pull it out; it worked last year..

Wilkes Central at West Wilkes

West will be flying high after last week’s win however WC is hungry to turn things around and I see it happening. WC is just too athletic for West to handle.

North Wilkes at East Wilkes

This could be a very hard fought game. Chipman is rather adamant that NW can beat East and if East plays sloppy it could very well happen. However if East comes out fired up and 100% dialled in I expect a thriller. I just think East has a little more talent than NW does especially on D. However anything can happen.

Ashe at Alleghany

Huskies are hungry for a playoff spot and the start for the hunt is this week. Alleghany struggles against the pass so it may be a long night for them. They gotta be able to keep Ashe’s O off the field while their D does just enough to pull it out. I just think Ashe’s O is too powerful for Alleghany.

Christ The King at Bishop

Villains get 1 last non conference win here; CTK is struggling to stay afloat as they lost some of their best kids. Bishop needs to make a statement here.

South Meck at WS Prep

This presents a solid shot for the Phoenix to make a statement; however South will have a lot of kids and equal if not better speed to the Phoenix. They gotta be willing to battle here because it will be a speedfest all night.

Ran late today so I had to rush this; next week I'm gonna do a midseason write up and pick my final standings for all the conferences and maybe do some player awards if I find enough stats.
