He was fired by a private company. Nothing to do with "due process". he can sue them if he wants.

I've gone back and watched... Should he have been fired? No. Did he screw up bad? yes. It's a great lesson for anybody in a position like this. Trust your partner's judgement. When she told him repeatedly what he was saying was "racist" he should have shut up.

I believe him when he said he didn't look into the material. He probably thought it was just another stupid royal family silly story. Turns out it was serious and he wasn't prepared and came off as a complete dumbass/racist.

But... that doesn't make him a racist.

And. Last but not least. I asked this earlier but I'm sure it got caught in the thread. @BigBlueSean Can you please post the link to the stories of advertisers pulling their ad money to get him fired.

Thanks in advance.

Acting like his partner was trying to reign him in is just dumb. They were both joking about it.

He only came off as a racist if you’re looking for something to ***** about.

EW Scripps is public (NYSE) and yes, you can use “due process@ generically.

Any due process to which he is entitled would be contractual, not constitutional. Publicly traded or not is irrelevant.
I was correcting him on whether or not it was a private company—and by saying I was speaking in “general terms” regarding due process—I was delineating constitutional from whatever else.

Damn lawyer balls

As far as a contract—they tore it right up.

ONE person on the board voted to let him go. ONE, and they went with her vote.

That dude’s a wacko. Apples and oranges to Lee.
just goes to show how unforgiving ppl can be. I mean this guy filmed himself ranting to a drive through person about how their organization wasn’t lgbtq inclusive. Im not certain he’s a whacko, but its still freaking amazing how employers won’t touch him.

I wasn’t referring to his video. He moved to Costa Rica to start a wellness center. Do you know anybody normal who started a wellness center in Costa Rica?

LOL. I got nothing :joy:

Seriously I read his story about how all this has changed his life forever. He says it actually is for the better—so you actually may be into something regarding his mental state.
