1st: (and most important) Put the students back where students belong. This will solve the majority of the problems. Back when the students where right behind the bench, in the action along the side of the court, the bottom level stood for 90% of the game. Now, shoved into the corner... Well, the last game I was at, I was sitting somewhere like 8th row, and the guy in front of me turned around TWICE to apologize for standing- because the guy in front of him was standing (because the guy in front of him was standing) and there were only like a dozen of us standing up in the entire section. This was the bottom section. The students are just too far away from the action, and that kills the atmosphere.
2nd: I miss Flick. I don't know if most of the other students feel that way, but the new guy is not made for college basketball announcing. Hell, Flick is the inspiration for my 17ing sixpack username. That dude had it. Bring him back for bball.
3rd: The new branded MSU athletics (Under Ninja/Grasshopper) had tried to milk every last second of downtime to get fans attention for one thing or another. To a degree, I like it, but it may have gone too far. Halftime, anything goes. But if a key timeout in an exciting game is extended to a media timeout, I don't want to see the chocolate unicorn. In fact, I never want to see the chocolate unicorn ever again.
4th: The music has not always been that loud, and bad. We don't need to blast rap or country through the speakers, especially that loud, even pregame. Play the typical lyric-less club/pump-up music, and do it at reasonable volumes. If the music gets drowned out by the fans, that's a good thing.
