That says a lot about you not understanding the workplace and quality of potential candidates for hire. I reviewed thousands of resumes, interviewed hundreds of candidates as part of hiring teams and would never throw away anyone's resume based on school they went to - even Liberty, since there are likely some very bright people there who don't buy into the idiocy of Creationism.
liberal bigotry on display once again

just why? this thread should be about the incredible mismatch and not one's beliefs

I am sorry but I didn't think my statement about the "young earth theory" taught at Liberty was all that controversial. I am not in any way anti-Christian. (I was a lector at Church today.) I appreciate the sensitivity training and shall comment on it no further.

Maybe your Church needs a better selection process.

It's not anti-Christian - it's anti-moron. One would have to be a complete idiot to believe the earth was created 7000 years ago.

Such a delightful way of describing someone's religious beliefs - from a guy's who's religion teaches we'll all be living underwater in 20 years and snow was supposed to be a thing of the past - 10 years ago.

It's all good if they show up to the interview wearing a mask to protect themselves from a virus though.

Libs like him never see their own hypocrisy..

Ah, not really but being older, white, Christian, male, and straight I'm a bit sensitive these days.
Ooops. should have added being a Rutgers fan in there.

Or maybe just stfu, since I didn't start it - I never do - but I will weigh in once these things get started. And please don't tell me you've gone so far down the moronic, delusional far right Christian fundamentalist rabbit hole that has taken over the CE board that you now believe that the earth was created 7000 years ago.

Imagine clinging to a bat theory

>In a nutshell, the premise of Creation Science is that the Bible gives us answers to many questions also addressed by science. The
Bible, which is held to be the inerrant, infallible Word of God, cannot be wrong. Therefore,
when the Bible and science disagree (or appear to disagree), the latter must be wrong. There is no room for questioning this premise. You must simply choose which side of line you stand on,the Bible or science<

Honestly, with all the evidence out there do people still think the pandemic happened naturally and not in the Wuhan lab where the outbreak happened? I mean, they were doing gain of function testing in the lab on Corona viruses.

1 + 1 = 2 doesn't it?
How did this thread get HERE?

I ask this as the person responsible for unwittingly creating this mess.

my favorite of theirs is us evolving from apes

you wanna talk about bat **** crazy?????
Who says that?
You do know we ARE Apes, right?

Believing in evolution does not mean not believing in God.
Even Darwin believed in God.
What is crazy is people believing that a series of stories put together in a book
is word for word absolute truth. Even though those stories have many inconsistencies. Even though those stories were translated multiple times. Even though some of the stories first were told in languages lost in time.

But what does it matter if some choose to think about that, discuss that, even BELIEVE that? There's a lot of liberal crap being taught out there in universities as well.. even R own. But all of them, even Liberty.. has normal college-level academics being taught as well as the useless crap.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say liberty could be a live dog. I think the line may climb as we get closer to the game and liberty may have enough offense to keep it close. These bowl games are tough to handicap because you never know what team is interested in showing up and playing and what team is there for the swag. Also who knows who may be opting out. On paper it's a mismatch but who knows.
