Lincolnton at Monroe

I believe it will be much closer than last year. Key to the game for the Wolves will be if we can score early and not get behind. Will not be able to play catch up with this Monroe group.
I would feel much better if the Wolves were healthy. Gotta be able to move the ball on the ground and keep Monroe’s offense off the field as much as possible.
We had them soundly beaten last year. For that minute and a half, I didn't feel the cold.
When they finally opened the concession stand in the 2nd quarter, I made the trek over to their side to get supper. They scored twice before I got back.
I think we will see the Big Bone this week with Cloninger at QB and Bost in the backfield.
Agreed. I wish it was as big as it used to be, though. (I know, I know...)
With Heath, Dellinger and Strutt behind Bost, it was pretty well named. This iteration is quick, and effective, but not Big. Maybe the Shifty Bone, the Kwik Bone, or the Jitter Bone?
Seriously? For rain? On turf? After I made my plans??
But it is a holiday on Friday, so I won't have to report to the salt mine.

Lost our RB/DE right before half last week.
Top tackler/MLB has been done for a few weeks now.
Randleman did beat us up pretty good, not sure if anyone else will miss time.
Nothing, just thought you were asking if they had grass or turf due to the rain coming. Monroe has a very nice facility.

And thanks to Monroe stadium staff. Friendly, quik gate workers who gave directions and made concession recommendations. Our side concessions was open this year and gets excellent marks. Great stadium food. Cheeseburger, fries, and chicken wings all excellent, staff super friendly and fast. Facility in impeccable shape. Band is awesome. National Anthem so so, but then came alive and stayed alive! Very few home fans, and that's too bad. Awesome football team that's gonna make noise. The announcer is awesome, even complements opponents play. No obnoxious music. When he says Red Hawks, it sounds just like Red Hots to me. It took me awhile to work that out!
Sideways rain, blustery winds and awful traffic. All in all, a good night if you throw out the loss.

Thanks Wolves Players and Coaches you stayed in the fight the whole season, Seniors players good luck in the future and remember once a wolf aways a wolf. Underclassmen train hard for next year and win the conference.
