and did so with a LOT more riding on the game and didn't appear nervous. He's starting today which maybe mentally makes a difference but he really shouldn't be any MORE nervous today than other times he's pitched this year. May be stupid but that's the way I feel about it and this whole SEC tournament in its current format IMO is stupid. Now if we get in a loser's bracket game in a regional next week that would be a much different matter.

Looking locked and loaded now that he's beginning to get command of his offspeed stuff.

We're going to make adjustments at the plate and make a game out of this... We're popping up, but we're not missing any pitches. We won't be fooled the second time through the lineup if they leave this guy in...

Yes, he came out and was nervous. He was releasing the ball a little too early and not completing his pitches but he has settled in. I don't think anyone on here expected him to come in and throw a shutout. He has gotten little help in the field and has kept the bleeding to a minimum.

To win this game we are going to have to swing the bats. Their pitcher has been doing a great job of making us pop the ball up. Last inning we touched him for a few solid hits, hopefully we can string a few of those together. He is also starting to get behind in the count which is a good thing.

Lindgren has done a damn fine job coming in for his first start.
