I certainly hope he is ok but sometimes you wonder if karma is reality . He called us back the morning of signing day begging us to talk to his dad and work things out with
Our staff. There was nothing we could do as for some reason the dad would not cooperate. Hope he is ok, he has had a tough run.

The freezer can kiss my *** on this one, pathetic.

Yeah, he certainly seems to be regretting his decision...from his Twitter:

"Humbleness will get you far in life, trust me. When something don't go my way, it's always a blessing. If you walk around all day with a smile on your face even when you are going through hard time, people will view you differently. The more I listen to Hugh Freeze, the more sense he puts in my head every day. I'm all in, can't nobody steal my joy of happiness. I'm grateful, blessed. I thank The Lord for me being a part of my family here at the University of Mississippi. It has changed my life FOREVER!!!"

He did start off "I certainly hope he is ok..." You interpreting that as an implication that Tee "deserves to get hurt" is a pretty big stretch.

So "karma is a *****" is means he hopes he is ok? Honestly, what kind of person hopes a 21 year old is injured to the point that their potential career is ruined because they decided to go to a rival school at the last minute? Get some 17ing perspective.

Going to Ole Miss and being around such morally, spiritually, and genetically inferior fans weakened his ligaments.

I certainly don't hope anyone gets hurt. I just think some of y'all are going overboard on his post b/c you want it to mean he's glad b/c it fits the "horrible, hateful, ignorant, etc... MSU fan" narrative. Message boards + rivals, never = perspective.

Let me reinforce that with a quote:

“Here’s my thing. In light of what happened the other night in town with Denzel and Sedarius Bryant and all that, and Channing Ward’s DUI, and Bobby Hill’s allegations of sexual assault, and it’s allegations. Innocent until proven guilty. I’m a big believer in the system. My only thing is this: It starts to add up from an image standpoint. It does start to add up and anybody can file suit against anybody… But when you build your football program. I think Ole Miss has to address this. Me personally, I think Ross Bjork, Hugh Freeze, Michael Thompson, Kyle Campbell and the people who shape the message, I think they need to get together here soon and begin to formulate a response, a message, a response. When you build your football program around things like core values, family, faith; when your assistant coaches are, and I’m not making fun here at all, when they’re tweeting inspirational quotes and bible verses, when that’s the face of your program that you present in an industry that requires you to recruit young men and their families, when these things happen with this degree of regularity, and again they’re all accusations, but when these accusations are presented with this degree of regularity, it begins to look hypocritical. It begins to look to be hypocritical. I think, you and I talk a lot about image, perception and reality. I think Ole Miss needs to be very careful right now. In the events of the last few weeks don’t begin to form a perception out there that all of a sudden might as well be reality. They have to address this.”

Let's say I said this. You would say that I'm pos agenda-driven State fan that's trying to defame Coach Freeze which would likely lead to real life threats (wink cough wink). You know who actually said that? Neal McCready on the Exxon Mobile Rebel Grove Podcast. Now when Neal said this, it was insightful and something that needs to be explored. See what I'm getting at? There is no perspective here. You're going to take what ever is said the way you want through your own biased perspective. That's why I don't expect any hardcore Rebels (which all of you posting on MSU boards are) to be able to read an MSU board rationally with perspective. It's a 2-way street but we are on an MSU board right now...

What are you talking about? I'm talking about him saying "karma is a *****" in reference to one of our players,!who spurned you last minute, getting injured. How the hell does that quote and your input relate at all to him being the highest degree of *******? I agree with McCready's comments, but my genetically inferior brain fails to comprehend the relationship in that and coach66, essentially, saying this player deserved such an injury.

I remember last year when one of the Mizzou players went down and a loud chant of Hotty Toddy was coming from the stands. This is usually the norm at VHS tho..

Red, et al, I don't like to see any kid get

Hurt and I guess karma was poorly used. My frustration is the way his recruitment was handled. I discussed it personally with one our coaches and kid did indeed call us and try to get out of signing with you guys the next morning. His dad would not cooperate.

Fellas, I apologized on Nafoom and I will here too if anyone thought i was happy to see Tee get hurt. I have coached youth football and baseball for many years and it makes me sick to see a kid get hurt on my team or the opposing team. Simply the truth.

The Karma was meant for Hugh and I stand by that statement because I don't like the way the whole thing went down. I simply can't recall us going hard after many Ole Miss recruits after they have committed in what appears to be a solid fashion. With that said I know we tried to flip Speaks last year and got no traction trying to do so, therefore we are not without sin. I just don't think it's the way we like to operate and it appears to be the favored way of operation for Hugh, he certainly has no problem coming after our commits. I simply just don't like it.

The only example I can think of that comes close to shoe on the other foot would be Robert Elliot. Was there a **** storm from the Rebel nation after that one?

Chris Jones is not a good comparison because he was in constant contact with our coaching staff during his escapades. With that said it did get dicey that last night with Chris Jones but thankfully we prevailed.

I don't think you have much to be sorry about Coach. The karma term is used pretty widely and would in this case, from what I gather of the reference, just mean that when you treat people badly (like Tee treated our coaching staff the way he left them in a lurch on signing day where his scholarship could have been offered to others) then bad things may be coming your way as well. I don't see how that equates to ANYONE wanting ANYONE to get injured. Its the circle of life so to speak.

I think the phrase "I certainly hope he is ok" means he hopes he is ok. Not sure though. Did not make a 24 on the English section of the ACT.

I'm pretty sure they are not any more concerned with Ole Miss than they are

MSU. I have apologized here and on Nafoom if people misinterpreted my post, don't know what else I can do. I wish no harm on Tee or Hugh but my post was aimed at Hugh and his tactics with Tee. I didn't like it then and I still don't like it but that's the extent of it.
