Thanks Southbottom. I am just curious. Is it the scheme, execution, or bad tackling as you and others have referenced.
Not SB but it depends on the game. Tonight against PH they gave up three long touchdown passes against man coverage... a few on double moves. Both corners got beat once and a LB matched up with a RB got outran for another. They also completely blew a coverage for the last PH touchdown. The tackling was better than it has been the last few games but still not up to the standard you usually see from them.
Bad tackling for sure. Plus not covering receivers on their routes. And yes this is a woman talking about routes. Lol.

A guy stepped over him sat down and ordered while the dude was passed out. Police showed up put him in the wagon. Never missed a beat. 1000 served ten at a time.
I know its"Salem football" but why so much intent on pounding the ball up the middle when the box is stacked and you get 1-3 yards per carry? Ramsey and Owen are consistently getting 5-8 on the outside sweeps but you still go back to the middle for no gains. The defense has no reason to spread out if you don't give them reason to. I know we are armchair coaches in the stands but it's time to drop the egos and stick with what works.
Do you think.... Ramsey needs to play both sides of the ball... He shut down navy Jones two years ago at forest.... Don't know wby the coaching staff has him on the sidline....
The coaches want to have their best players on the defensive side of the ball.
Threeputt and Shabutie, you guys know Salem Football very well, but are on opposite ends of the spectrum on this one. There is obviously a reason for Ramsey's limited touches on offense and not being included in the defense. Thats for Salem fans to discuss; however, I would certainly think he would be a force on running downs if he played mlb or nose guard.
