I see narcissist, an actual serious personality disorder, is the new “buzz word” of the year, similar to how anyone that was particular about anything “had OCD” a couple years ago.

Haha, you are high if you think KSR is going anywhere anytime soon. I don't think you have a clue how successful the show is. You can't possibly. It is a Top 30 sports podcast in the country. That is absurd because it is literally devoted to one fan base.
I get it if it isn't your flavor, could totally see why, but the show is successful despite the folks that loathe Jones.

For the most part ... no. Coaches ... some, but most are not like Cal. Politicians ... they're too busily engaged in their criminal activities to draw that kind of attention to themselves. CEO's ... no, they're not that stupid and no BODs would ever allow it. Celebrities ... probably all of them are narcissists with a few being the rare exceptions. Cal is special in his version of this psychological malady made worse by UKMBB providing to him a national stage for the exhibition. His need for adoration, without being questioned nor criticized is classic.
That's ridiculous. A handful are "pissed off". The rest are wondering why anyone would be upset with "the second best coach in UK history because who could we get that's better".

I’ve listened to KSR everyday for the past 8 years and probably haven’t missed a show. However, Matt can be a dick and can come off a bit arrogant in that he believes that his opinion is the only thing that matters at times.
Calipari will go to war for his players. During 2020, Ryan Lemond was on KSR when he called the players STUPID and that they played stupid. The video is circulating on Twitter. Ryan crossed the line and to Matt's credit he did call him out on it. But to this day, I'm sure Ryan has not apologized to the players or Cal. So I don't blame him one bit.
I didn’t take it that way. He was making sure people knew what they were voting for when they voted “yes” or “no”. He confused some people yesterday so he went over it again.

Like I said, coaches have never done this because they "need" the platform. They do it for the fans. Yes, he can use twitter to reach us all and put out nonsensical videos like he did yesterday. He can use his mouthpiece Kyle Tucker to reach us. But KSR has a huge audience and it makes Cal look pretty lame to shut it out. Not surprising though, his ego just can't handle anyone questioning him.
Yeah, he's on a race to the bottom and pretty soon it's going to be a tossup as to who has the most street 'cred, him or Pitino LOL.
I'm with you on both counts. CCC is to the point of put up or shut up and I won't be listening to KSR until they spend the majority of their time talking about Kentucky Basketball and less time talking about totally irrelevant and nonsensical things.
It has nothing to do with ego and everything to do with Jones leaking information he wasn’t supposed to. That’s why he was cut off.
