Just wait another 2 years for Pelini to get all this own players in his system and he gets rid of all the cancerous attitudes on the team. It takes a coach 4-5 years to transition offenses like he's trying to do, and he's basically starting from scratch with how bare Eric Wolford left the cupboard. But you should see all the recruits that are visiting! He...

...wait...I cannot even finish with how ridiculous this all sounds.

Unbelievable game though. Sure looked like E. Washington was going to put the game away until that turnover deep in YSU territory in the 3rd quarter. I cannot believe that kid held onto that ball the last play.

Or how about thinking that after 7 years of the same stuff at the same school every year that suddenly a coach is going to figure things out and lead that team to greatness. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me too.

And learn to treat people with even the slightest amount of tact and respect. Can I get an update on Callahans most recent games from all you former coach lovers?

I lost all respect for Bo when I saw him at Hy-Vee. They were out of regular lil smokies and he threw a package of lil smokies across the store and yelled "Who the F wants cheesy jalopeno lil smokies."
I lost it when he cut sped around me, flipped me off. But mine is a true story. Double bird. Tough guy. I laughed, pissed him off more.

Wait, my wife says he yelled "who the F wants cheesy cocktail weenies" and just threw them on the floor.

I'm not sure.

this is just X in why recruiting your own players is the test of you as a college coach. The QB he rolled with today is better than any QB he brought to Lincoln during his time there...and he didn't recruit him....weird.

This this day I can't figure out how he and Beck failed at not landing Joe Burrow who's at tOSU now.

I remember when he inherited Suh and people were then calling him a great defensive mind.

No wins an FCS playoff game. Who the hell cares? FCS is a joke and so is Bo. He will get destroyed next week even if some of his potheads return.

going to the title game. I have to say, that was an exciting game to watch with an unbelievable ending.

I quit watching the game in the 3rd quarter as I thought EWU had the game won. It was really cold here in Eastern Washington, today. I am about 2 hours west of Cheney and it was 10 at my house and 3 degrees up on the ski hill this morning . A Cougar friend texted to tell me that Bo's team won. I watched the last catch. Pretty unbelievable.

That was a game changer but I thought that was pass interference. I dont mind the no calln great play by a 1st time starter.

So you think Riley is going to win anything. Because he has done nothing in his college coaching career as a head coach.

Nothing in 20 years. So now we are suppose to expect something different like you said?

No, Jeans, it was a direct response to Pelinithecrutch, who was making fun of people saying Riley and company need time and shouldn't be judged just yet until they have their players in.

There are 2 schools of thought in huskerville, both of which you are familiar with. Those who say give Riley time to get his players in, and those who say .500 coach will never improve. If you're (PTC) gonna make fun of those who are saying give him time, then you better be ready fun of for thinking Bo will change. If a person thinks Riley won't change, then the argument is that Bo won't change either. But since he has, then maybe we need to let Riley have the opportunity to change as well. He certainly had a good enough second season to be given more time.

Context matters.

We've all seen this song and dance play itself out. 2009, a team recruited by Bill Callahan was within one second of a BCS bowl and Big XII championship under his leadership.

He signed 11 recruits at spaghetti state and 3 of them inherited their Y chromosome from someone on Bo's staff. There is no evidence that he has changed, just surrounding himself with the same types of people that lead to his demise.

I'll be rooting for James Madison in the title game - not so much because of Bo but because I don't want to see that sanctimonious asshat Jim Tressel hoisting a championship trophy.

Go Dukes.

In other words, EWU couged it. Then again, EWU beat the Cougs so not sure what that says about Wazzu. Winking
