Good gosh, you saw how much he hurt us when he was the AD.

******* would probably set it up so that we have to play at Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge six years in a row, have Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia on the road every year, and Ole Miss in Jackson.

He would also probably shut down the LFL and enforce the cowbell ban.

And he would also probably give the basketball team the death penalty because he didn't like Stansbury.

Plus, he would be horrible for the SEC because he is so cheap. The SEC needs someone that thinks progressively and is willing to spend to make money rather than cut corners.

You think replay is bad now? If LT was the commissioner, they wouldn't be able to see the play because they didn't have their rabbit ears adjusted right. He would also probably cut the bowl tie ins down to three to save money so that the SEC teams wouldn't have to travel.

Every team in the SEC would be force to wear Russell Athletic and have their traditional logos sold to NIKE so that they could never be used again.

Do I need to go on?

Imagine LT spreading all of his effort, knowledge, and ideas across ALL of the SEC teams and not just MSU. Of course, not too long after, the SEC would disband and join with C-USA.

If he was the Commish you could kiss the cowbells and the left field lounge goodbye.

But Slive (Khyatt's man) needs to go, yesterday.

I can think of no quicker way of running the conference into the ground than putting 'Ol Lar at the top.

I can see it all happening. Being cheap is one thing, but voting down tradition? I can definitely see him doing whatever he needs to in order to make a point to the other schools that he is NOT going to show favortism toward State.

Would be good as the head of the most powerful conference in America? Yeah, WE'RE the dumb ones. The G.O.B. system that LT represents is the very reason so many want Slive gone. And you want to replace him with the biggest member of the G.O.B. Club EVAR? ****, the SEC would be dead inside of 5 years. And you're pissy now because of changes to the LFL? Wait until LT kills the LFL as commish. Then you really would have reason to be pissed.

"In this latest wave of contracts, copies of which were obtained Tuesday by The Clarion-Ledger, the buyouts have risen dramatically...

The rise is best illustrated in State's deal with Tulane. When the original contract was signed on July 10, 1998, it was actually typewritten. And in the buyout clause, it said Tulane would have to pay $75,000 to get out of the deal. An letter of addendum added to the contract file on July 31, 2009, outlined a 2016 game - and increased the buyout from $75,000 to $350,000.

It's all designed to ensure that what happened to State in 2008 doesn't happen again. Prior to that season, Central Michigan backed out of a handshake deal to play State in a two-for-one, leaving the school in a tough spot to fill games. That helped spawn home-and-home deals with Louisiana Tech and Middle Tennessee State."
