Wasn't this a game we weren't supposed to win??

SAY WHAT?

Dear Lord….

When Schiano's starry-eyed supporters come face to face with the reality that college football isn't impressed by wins over mediocre teams and the great teams they thought are great wins are not considered great wins by everyone else. This was not a Miami or VaTech team from the 1990s. It was an improvement year over year but it was mediocre.

WHY DO YOU CARE???

And yes, I am shouting.
I don’t understand why anyone is dignifying this guy with a response? All year it’s name calling and garbage posts. Clearly a troll

what is ironic in your post is you're speaking to whitebus (who fights with everyone and is truly bipolar, nuts how is your classic associative loser who literally has nothing in life but this board, and doctorworm is ignored by more people than oblunder at a christian convention.

lol, you sir are not bright at all

well the main board has zero respect for the win, Reddit is the same with more choice words lol

espn highlighted all the opt outs by miami and cbs sports was the same

All year I didn't really read anyone giving props to Rutgers as a whole, the qb turns people off
If ESPN is disrespecting RU for the win they can go f**k themselves, because even after the Miami opt-outs for weeks their ticker has been showing Miami with a 67% chance of winning the game.

So you had a good Christmas?
...as my nephew would say the 'dude is punching air' because we actually won the game. We all know this wasn't the 2001 Hurricanes and we all know they had opt-outs. We know our passing game currently makes triple-option teams almost look like the run and shoot. We also know that Miami has had numerous Top 10/Top 20 recruiting classes in a row with multiple 4 and 5-star recruits and most of the 'punching air' posters are the same ones who harp on that constantly whenever another team lands a 4-5 star recruit because it's 'always all about the Jimmies and the Joe's'...

When your barometer is the main board and reddit you know the guy's a complete trolling *******.

There's been plenty of love for the Rutgers program across all platforms of media by completely reputable writers, journalists and pundits. Is the program where we all want it to be, including Schiano, no. But we've taken a nice big step forward this year with plenty to look forward to for next year.

I think I’m too old to get all the respect/disrespect over trivial stuff nowadays. I just shake my head at the “respect my decision” and ”he disrespected me” types of comments I hear or read all the time. People today care way too much about what others think of them.

If you pay attention you are seeing the respect for Greg and RU program from national as well as regional experts , media etc. people in the know …know. The casual observer thinks ash is still here and we suck.

Lots of Miami podcasts acknowledge the opt outs as a big factor for them losing.

However, nearly all of them also go out of their way to praise Schiano as a good coach who can develop and motivate players.

They also appreciate the physicality and discipline of our team.

I wouldn’t look at the Main Board or national media as a barometer of respect for our program. They are stuck in their pro-SEC mindsets and push agendas.

Just stay the course. The rest will take care of itself.

Agree. On another note I was rooting hard for Kentucky against Clemson but Kentucky did not take care of the ball . It was ridiculous. Had they made protecting the ball more of a priority they win that game that’s on them ,

lol....this is hysterical....I don't even need to insult you back (which I easily could do, but I'll be the "adult in the room" for now), but if you think this board is anything more than maybe 1% of my life you're a bigger clown than I ever thought. Nice try!

A bigger factor is that Miami just isn't all that great these days, something they don't want to acknowledge, no doubt.

I was always taught, respect isn't a given, it's earned. My generation did a piss poor job of raising their kids, I fret for the future.

I was taught to respect everyone, but respect can be lost. You don’t need to earn my childrens’ respect - you already have it.
