Mark May on Bama game: "Close for a half"

I heard the same quote, but I wasn't sure if he was talking about the Bama game or stating that our game tonight was, "close for a half". I kinda took it as if he was talking about our game.
He was predicting that outcome for us with Bama... I never really give anything Mark May says any weight.
If we have to tape stuff up in the locker room to get ready to play for this game we need to stay in Starkville.
Mark May is pro MSU most of the time. If you haven`t seen that you haven`t been watching. This game at T town at night against this Bama team could get ugly. If I were a sports TV guy and didn`t want to make myself look like a fool I`d call it just like May did.
Doubt whether or not we are good enough on our DL to stop them. I can see their OL blasting our DL and opening big holes for their good RB's. I think we can move the ball on them, provided we give Russell protection, but our defense against their offense is the big key IMO.
You are correct. He has always been kind towards MSU. For him to have said or suggest that we would be in the game to the very end would be silly. I hope we are but I can't see it.
Bulletin board material needs to actually come from the other team, not some television announcer.

I'm a fool because I don't like Mark May? Get that **** out of here. You seem to be that type of person that only cares what other people think about you. Unless we have a Sandusky type scandal, then national perception doesn't mean that much at all.
The main reason I say that is because you have a few a good winning seasons then everyone will love you. Win, and all that is taken care of. Mark May's words are never something I look forward to when I need something to make my day. If that works for you then... cool I guess.

and "I don't give his thoughts any weight" in this thread. If you were going to make a serious prediction about the game, would you disagree? He's not exactly going out on a limb. We will be a 12 to 20 point underdog without question.
Some of you are so convinced that everyone is anti-Mississippi State. Keep in mind that Mark May gave a talk at MSU just two years ago and was very supportive and congratulatory of our program and direction.
