That's what happens when you rarely shoot or attack and your top game isn't as effective anymore.Good job by Grello , looking back at his stats, most , if not all, of his matches are close, win or lose, good opponent or bad.
Stars were Lipari, Suriano, Ashnault, JVB and Gravina.

Good effort by Colucci against a very good, All American Heavyweight.
On to the Big 10 Tournament, in a few weeks.
I just don’t c the IT factor with Glasgow that I was hoping for...I like what Lipari is doing right now - he is going to be a dangerous wrestler at the Big Ten.
Metzler & Glasgow will be 0-2.I certainly expect to see a healthier explosive Glasgow next season at 157.For all we know there might be a new set of line up changes.
I am not sure about the transfers.
Hopefully, we get the Junior College 197#.
For the most part, if the wrestler can't start at his college, he is not going to be the kind of wrestler that will help us in the B10.
Unless Oklahoma State wants to send us some of their insane depth wrestlers....
How can you judge anything when he's been injured all season and recovering from surgery? And please don't give me the man up he should be wrestling fine after surgery. I'll reserve judgment until next year. My bigger concern is that he hasn't been healthy in years now so will he be over the next 3 years?I just don’t c the IT factor with Glasgow that I was hoping for...
That always catches up to you in March. If you don't shoot and aren't aggressive, then you aren't getting anywhere near AA.Grello has sneakily been winning quite a few matches... all in overtime but a wins a win
Go on...And maybe RU will get a transfer that is starting for his team, but wants to wrestle in the Big10.
Ref gave 2 swipes, he shoudl get 2

The IT factor is what make a winner special... intangible .. inmesurable.. they find ways to win.. I know he’s wrestling up his nautral weight but so is okie state’s gFellla and countless other guys finding spot on their team... and yeah he’s not fully healthy but he’s medically cleared and he’s out there and still losing against not strong competition...I hope I’m wrong.. don’t get me wrong I think he will be servicaceble starter ... Just not that stud AA potential I originally thought.. really hope I’m wrong..I think the IT factor is there..we use aren't seeing it yet..I hope I am right.

If Glasgow is as good as some people here think, wouldn't he be wrestling at 57? JVB is good but not good enough to hold off a stud frosh? Maybe he's just not as good as most seem to think.I just don’t c the IT factor with Glasgow that I was hoping for...
I really thought he would be special and I know he’s hurt but I don’t like the way he quit at end of that match. Looks like he’s mentall my broke down right now.If Glasgow is as good as some people here think, wouldn't he be wrestling at 57? JVB is good but not good enough to hold off a stud frosh? THIS IS ON GOODALE. So a 5th year SR blood round guy JVB beat out the frosh, at a 157 wrestle off, who was injured and barely wrestled last year. So, Goodale bumps him up to 165 due to the program's black hole at that weight (Goodale's fault). Mistake! He is undersized at 165 and the physical grind injured him. I loved how he competed early in the season up a weight at 165 before the injury, BUT now he has been psychologically damaged, in addition to physically, as a result of Goodale's mismanagement and lack of big picture planning and decision making.
Took the words right out of my mouth...tired of the injury excuse being used and saying coaches are throwing him out there hurt...that’s just not true ...he has given up late in more then one match and using the knee is just hogwash ...who knows what he ends up being but blaming coaching is just ********You guys get a life will you!

What the hell is that supposed to mean? I have serious reservations as well on why we don't have a true 165 pounder. Or why recruiting misses the last 3 yrs. have been more the norm than the exception. Is that supposed to mean I shouldn't care any longer that my money to the program via the pin pool and season tickets should go elsewhere? You guys get a life will you!
But it's OK for you to blame the coaching staff all year for not wrestling MVB at 141? I believe that's what you call hypocrisy. Any high level athlete is going to say they want to compete. It's up to the coach's to decide what's best for them. They're the adults, they're the one's with experience not some 19 year old kid.Took the words right out of my mouth...tired of the injury excuse being used and saying coaches are throwing him out there hurt...that’s just not true ...he has given up late in more then one match and using the knee is just hogwash ...who knows what he ends up being but blaming coaching is just ********

Haleyr1 respectfully -Some clarity the kid had meniscus surgery then wrestled two weeks after. This is a 4 to 6 weeks healing process before getting back on the mat to "just practice".Getting a feel of his knee by rolling on the mat.First mistake by the coaches in putting it on the kid to wrestle who just wants to wrestle. These are adults who need to make the best decision for the future of a young man to be.If this was my kid there is no way I would let him wrestle in these conditions causing any further damage to the healing process.I think the parents should take some blame here also allowing their son to wrestle.Just throwing him out there injured with not adequate time to heal because there is no one else is the real hogwash. It is easy to post behind a screen name without knowing all the true facts. All Goody kept saying was Glasgow was 100% which we know now is total ********.Be truthful about the health conditions of the kid.Just the business of wrestling as usual. We can't afford this happening with our future recruits in similar situations.
Yes he absolutely lost those matches late.Maybe Glasgow is not the promise of a wrestler we expected. It does not negate the fact it was mishandled.I don't care how tough you are but wrestling through these type of injuries is very difficult. If it was that easy I would like to see any one of us wrestling at a high level in these conditions.
I didn't realize that we had so many medical doctors who are wrestling fans and post on this board.
It took me 6-8 weeks to feel 100 percent from my double meniscus surgery. I was 30 years old at the time and not in Division 1 sports either. This is where I disagree with you the Doctor said I risk no further injury it just depends how well you can work through the pain after 2 weeks of rest from initial surgery. I went back once because I thought I hurt it again after week three playing pick up basketball and he said keep playing just some scar tissue. So Goodale is probably right in saying he’s 100 percent injury free however there’s a lot of discomfort for Glasgow and it’s probably up to him if he wants to wrestle. I give the kid credit for trying to help the team and should be commended by the fans! Just the way I see it and totally my opinion.

Ahhh cmon...he's harmless... He's just loud...and sometimes quite funny
Great points.. obviously he is cleared and obviously it still bothers him. He wants to wrestle. Let me ask all this question: How is Glasgow being so criticized for wrestling while people like Gravina and Scott are labeled warriors many times over? Give Glasgow and the coaches a break. He's cleared and wants to help the team. Leave it at that.
That's good to know for my medical issues. I go to the football board to have my lawn mower, bbq grill, and issues resolved.
He was annoying at times, and annoyingly humorous other times. I engaged him a few times at the start of the match then was told by the MD student sports reporters I should just ignore him and pretty much all the MD fans were embarrassed by him. He called Gravina a senior citizen during the match..WTH?
