Burns as an #18 seed and Shelby as a #24 seed.

Now that would cause some real heart burn for the higher seed teams.

EG, how would you say your current team compares to the team you had 2 years ago? I think that was your best team you've had in a while.

Hard to say, because of who we have played. Not as much size this year. Defense is better. Rushing game not as good. Passing game is better, receivers are pretty fast. QB is very good passing and running.

Not sure about NC and RM being a big game. RM just isn't that good this year. NC should handle them easily. I guess it's a big game for NC. They've always been considered the little brother of Nash County, and don't do well vs its other teams.

Burns as an #18 seed and Shelby as a #24 seed.

Now that would cause some real heart burn for the higher seed teams.

You surely wouldn't go by seeding and choose their higher seeded opponents. Those teams would have to be seeded higher. Burns and Shelby will both be hard nuts to crack. You would only wish to play either of them in the west bracket final. Put it off as long as you can. I would not be at all surprised to see either one in that bracket final.

This Friday night is the NCC Championship. It’s being held in Elizabeth City where Northeastern will be playing host to Kaveon Rodgers and the Hertford County Bears. The remaining schedule consists of teams with a combined record of 7-13. That will most likely keep us from getting a higher seed even with a win against a good Hertford County team.

I like this bracket. I can see SWE falling to WRH in the 3rd round. I can also see Roanoke Rapids getting on the bus after the 1st quarter vs Clinton.
