Two teams represent North Carolina in the top 100 national rankings.
Providence Day leads the way sitting at #71
Just behind is Greensboro Grimsley who sits at #78

Not far from us is Irmo Dutch Fork sitting higher up at #45 as the only team from SC, and Virginia sees two teams with #70 Highland Springs and #74 Woodbridge Freedom.

Some other notable rankings of teams that play North Carolina teams this season are #10 Buford, Ga., #14 Langston Hughes, also Dutch Fork plays Colquitt Co., Ga. who clocks in at #20.

Side note: Lakewood, Ohio's St. Edward is ranked #16. My sister works in Lakewood, and her fiancé went to school at St. Edward. Played Baseball.

Grimsley is one of the top three portal schools (representing the Greensboro area). The other two are the Forsyth County portal team (East Forsyth) and the Charlotte area portal team (Hough).
The entire county of Forsyth is a Portal. East Forsyth just wins therefore they the bad guy. Nobody talks about Glenn and Tabors transfers. That's because they get them and lose 😆

Hey say what you want about EF they are very successful and if it’s through choice than so be it they are the team right now. In 5 years it could be west Forsyth or Reagan.

In Forsyth I believe you can choose your High school no matter where you live. The state needs to make that the rule everywhere.
