but does it annoy anyone else that we just got the largest single donation for a university in Mississippi history, and while practice facilities will be renovated and coaches will get new offices, our fans will still be pissing on their own feet in the Templeton troughs? I understand that the practice facility has been marked as higher priority than stadium expansion but jesus. Can $10K be thrown at the West side of the stadium to at least put up a few guards?
Longer term, I'd love to see these improvements to the West side also.
1. Complete overhaul of the bathrooms. I've pissed in trash cans and alleys before so I'm really not a snob, but the current situation is downright nasty.
2. Overhaul of vending layout. The added vendor locations for last year seemed to help a good bit, but there are still a lot of locations where the line can't get 5 deep without completely blocking traffic. This is especially the case up in the chairback level.
3. Install individual seats in at least the priority sections(C, D, and E).
4. At the expense of losing a good number of seats, take out a row of seats by each portal to allow people to walk in between sections. Then split each section in half and add a column of steps down the middle. Something has to be done about so many people having to crawl over 30 or more people in your row in order to get in and out of your seat. I think that we currently have rows that are 70+ people long and that has to be some sort of record. We may not be the only one like this, but I can't think of any other stadium where I've seen this problem.
5. With the improvements made to the flow of traffic, you could then have more walking vendors which would further cut down on people having to get up. Right now, I have to scream over 33 people to catch someone's attention and then pass money down the entire aisle. You know how people just love that when they're trying to watch a game.
I could come up with probably 20 more things, but doing at least the top 4 would thrill me.
