Nah. He'll be fine
I guess Mccasland saying he changed the game at the rim doesn’t matter. They constantly had to pull up for floaters because he contests everything. That’s a good thing for us. He also didn’t get a lot of rebounds because most of them are long. That’s the wings and guards boards. I agree with you he’s fine and 30 mins is right where he should be at.

Milam has improved his three-point shooting throughout his career. He averaged 37.7% his first two (2) years, before exploding to a 48.7% clip last year. There is no question that he is a premier shooter. He will draw SIGNIFICANT defensive attention this year. It will be interesting to see how well he shoots this year, with both that defensive pressure and the implied pressure that his team's success will depend on him shooting well.
I hope he plays 30+ minutes a game and shoots at least ten (10) threes a game. I suspect he will shoot somewhere between 40%-45%, but hope for something incredible, of course. He is capable of really going off for the entire season !! He compares very favorably with Brea and Lamb, imho.

I believe it’s going to be difficult for Milan to average 10 threes a game .

Since the question came from Buttersdad it was definitely intended to be serious. But like most things spouted on this board, it turned out to be a joke.
I don’t think cornbreadnmilk posts anything like Butters’ Dad. I’ve thought cornbreadnmilk is DontWorryAboutIt23 for awhile

Oh he's definitely Buttersdad. He slipped up years ago and forgot to switch accounts.
He's probably DWA23 too. He needs many accounts to accommodate his multiple personalities.

I understand. He averaged 7.5 per game last year, but for $6,000,000, I would think we could get him 2.5 more shots a game. That should be a focus, imho, but it may not happen. He played almost 34 minutes last night and only took 5 shots total, so I get you.

What does shooting have to do with a guard being explosive on the ball? Say you don’t know ball without saying anything else. Can a freshman not get better as a sophomore at shooting as well?
explosive "on the ball".....lol thats not a thing. thats something you came up with because there is nothing else to say about his game.

I've been worried about N'Diaye offensively. On his Italian team he was a high volume 30% 3-pt shooter. He's almost 7 feet tall and he takes over half his shots from three despite missing most of them. Bad shot selection from three isn't a minor nitpick, it's his main offensive identity. He has a lot of upside and should give us rebounding and defense but he needs to completely rework his offensive game.
That worries me too. “He doesn’t make many, but has such good form” sounds almost verbatim like what we kept hearing about Jelavic last year and he never really came around to being a weapon, finishing the year at 27.6% from 3, which was roughly in line with his numbers from Europe.

I’m fine with N’Diaye taking the occasional wide open look to keep the defense honest, but nothing in his track record suggests it will be good for us if he keeps firing away from 3 like he has so far in the exhibitions.

Depending on the opponent I think he could play a few mins at center, have a lineup of shooters
So there are 40 minutes a game at center…Moreno is our 2nd best player snd then Kepnang is likely the best backup center in the country…on a team that will struggle defensively and rebounding more then likely…and you want to see minutes for a 6’7 under the rim PF from james Madison?

I’d focus on our guards turning the ball over and quit jacking up shots and getting the ball to Milo more

Who’s got a better 7’1 270 pound center …when healthy csn move . Top 3 shot blocker in pac10 , top rebounder and csn finish rim runs …as a backup for 10 minutes a game
