Hough is up 27-0 over West Charlotte in the 3rd. Anyone want to add scores. Go ahead
The Metro just keeps getting wilder and wilder. My jaw fell through the ninth level of hell when I heard the Page-Western Guilford score.SE Guilford 36
SW Guilford 0
Final
our offense is going through some trials and tribulations, starting QB tore his ACL two weeks ago and started tonight. Back up injured himself last week too. It's been tough sledding, somehow they still have a winning record. The Metro just keeps getting wilder and wilder. The QB tore his ACL two weeks ago and started last night?? Man, what a tough kid.our offense is going through some trials and tribulations, starting QB tore his ACL two weeks ago and started tonight. Is that even possible? Highly doubt a player is playing with a torn aclThe QB tore his ACL two weeks ago and started last night?? Man, what a tough kid.
If it’s a partial tear I could see it. Think Phillip Rivers played on a torn ACL in 2007 playoff game vs PatsIs that even possible? Highly doubt a player is playing with a torn acl
im not a doctor, nor do i have exact information on the type/extent of the injury. All I know is he was carted off 2 weeks ago with a serious knee injury, saw tweets the next day of him walking down the hospital hallway with a gown, crutches, and a IV, and two weeks later was sharing snaps with the 3rd string QB last night. Is that even possible? Highly doubt a player is playing with a torn acl
Maybe an MCL???? I know you can play with a torn one, just can't cut. But an ACL????im not a doctor, nor do i have exact information on the type/extent of the injury. maybe...... I dont know details, but heard it was an ACL.Maybe an MCL???? I know you can play with a torn one, just can't cut. But an ACL????
Since the AD at Page resigned a few days ago, who'll take over those responsibilities ?
Page will probably find someone on the inside mid year.He hasn't stepped down yet. He will be the AD until they find a suitable interim.
Erik Naglee, Page’s principal, wrote in an email that he and his staff “will be working on a transition plan in regards to an interim AD in the next few weeks.”

Just lost another AD in the middle of Football season. Maybe the problem with Page is the administration not the coachesour offense is going through some trials and tribulations, starting QB tore his ACL two pweeks ago and started tonight. Back up injured himself last week too. It's been tough sledding, somehow they still have a winning record.
It's definitely not the administration. Page's current admin is the best we've had since Mr. C was our principal. It sounds like he is stepping down for personal reasons. Did you even read the article? This was a very tough decision for Harder. His 2 best friends are teachers/coaches at Page.Just lost another AD in the middle of Football season. Maybe the problem with Page is the administration not the coaches
Dont meant to totally get off the subject but thought I would share. I always say this to men, friends and leaders. Don't let work steal the quality of life you deserve with your family. We men have a tendency to reverse those priorities a lot, and for the wrong reasons. I'm pleading with those not to fall into the trap. Your first duty as a man is to love Christ. Love for your wife comes next, then love for your kids. Life is brief, so don't spend it on useless pursuits. This also applies to women. It's not like we've been losing ADs left and right, Rusty Lee was our AD for almost 30 years, before Harder took over.
I think, most likely, Harder wants to coach basketball somewhere, after he takes time off to be with his family and traveling.
Leaving in October isn’t a good look. Second time now: Rusty left in October as well. It's not like we've been losing ADs left and right, Rusty Lee was our AD for almost 30 years, before Harder took over.

Things don't always happen the way you want them, or in the best possible way. We make due, and keep moving forward.Leaving in October isn’t a good look. Second time now: Rusty left in October as well.
Correct, but it wasn't just the QB, it was 4 Page transfers that put Grimsley over the top and gave them the skill they needed on offense to win it all.The year before the QB transfer from Page, Grimsley went 12-2, twice losing to eventual state champ EF by identical scores of 21-20. The year before, they went 7-6 with a playoff appearance. It wasn’t like it was some overnight transformation like a Northern Guilford, aka “The Kovaleski”.
I understand you are trying to make the situation seem worse than what it really is, because you hate Page. Page has had 2 ADs in the past 33 years. You cannot compare the state of the Page football program that Rolfes inherited from Gillespie to the one that Robertson inherited from Rolfes. You keep bringing that up, and its a moot point. Two totally different situations. Rolfes ran the thing into the ground, the players didn't want to play for him. Grimsley was still a doormat when Rolfes tookover. They only started being good 4 years ago, a year before Robertson took over.Exactly seeing the AD is leaving in football for the 2nd time in less than 5 yrs is bad. Also 2 Head Coaches during that time. Also Rolfes had more wins, playoff wins, and conference championships and wins over Grimsley than Doug in 3 season.
Where are you hearing this crap? Unless it's a reported fact and came from his mouth for everyone to hear, its BS.Plus rumors are going around that Doug isn't happy with Page. Would not be surprised if he took off. He seems to change schools every 3-5 years
If Robertson saw holes at DB on the roster, then asking your best player to play some time at DB isn't farfetched in High School ball, if that is what ran off Barnett, then that's pretty sad and just shows that he was selfish and didn't really care about doing what's best for the team. Great players usually want to play both sides of the ball. James Summers played QB and made a ton of plays at Safety too....Also, Rolfes didn't come in a run his star QB off telling him he had to play DB. When he left he took the entire offense with him across the street turning Grimsley instantly into a State Champion. Now they are the program to beat and Page is struggling to beat Southwest Guilford.
Okay, sure, he dislikes Page... better?I've never been given the impression War Head " hates " Page. Why do you think that, MIster Pirate ?
Agreed Mr GSO-Triple you're #1 in my book.. I actually really admire Page. I just don't like this idea that Robertson is above criticism. If Rolfes was at Page and they had to hold on for dear life against SW-Guilford, then were absolutely smoked by NW Guilford 3 years in you would be calling for his head. I'm just showing how biased you guys are at Page. The people that say they didn't want to play for Rolfes is because he saw the talent in that Sophomore class and he was putting Barnett in at QB as a Soph. and taking a 3 year starter and moving him to RB/WR. Rolfes knew he had a State Championship level offense coming up.I've never been given the impression War Head " hates " Page. Why do you think that, MIster Pirate ?
Also, are you referring to the OC who left in June/July?Also the rumors of him not being happy at Page is because Page did something to one of his coaches who was in the building. Everyone is saying he is not happy with the Principal and AD after another bone head move by the Page Admin team.
I have to be at work at 5am and it's a 45 minute drive. I get up really early but I get off around 3:30-4:00pm. Ahhh yes, I prefer the Browns Summit shine not that piss water from SummerfieldYou two cats are some sho' nuff night owls. Yes, Mister War Head, I am totally aware of your girlfriend's lust for Summerfield moonshine likker.
Here's a non-biased opinion from a Hough fan. I know kids and their families that played at Northwest and Page for Rolfes. He was without question one of the worst coaches in that area for sure, and probably in the state. He would lock on to favorites and create a toxic culture. It only worked when he had such ridiculous talent like he did with Tre' Turner and Thomas Hennigan at NW and of course the talent he had when he arrived at Page. Page, in my opinion, gave him too much time which is why they are still trying to recover. Triad football makes a lot more sense when Page is strong. Too much history to ignore.Agreed Mr GSO-Triple you're #1 in my book.. I actually really admire Page. I just don't like this idea that Robertson is above criticism. You say Grimsley didn't become a State Champ over night. Have you been sipping on Mr GSO's cough meds? You have your years mixed up sir. In 2019 Grimsley did lose to East Forsyth. They then Graduated almost 100% of their offensive skill players who produced points in 2019. With that said Grimsley had a decent JV team that was moving up (who btw never produced points on Friday nights for Grimsley). With all of those FACTS its safe to say Grimsley (who was just beat in the 4A West Semi-finals should have been in a rebuild mode on offense in 2020.
In walks Alonza Barnett-III and 2 RBs and a D1-TE, 2 WRs, then a defensive player or 2. Plus they had a 5* on Dline. Grimsley goes from scoring 38 PPG (their most successful team in the last 50 years in 2019) graduating everyone from offense to a team that was scoring 35 PPG and returned every player on defense from the 2019 team. After Rolfes was fired from Page the very next year *Spring 2020* Grimsley Wins the 4A Championship. Since Barnett left Grimsley I don't think Grimsley has lost a regular season game and Page is getting beat by NW Guilford and SW Guilford is pushing Greensboro's team to their limit.
Again you would be calling for Rolfes Head right now. Robertson its ok. Also the rumors of him not being happy at Page is because Page did something to one of his coaches who was in the building. Everyone is saying he is not happy with the Principal and AD after another bone head move by the Page Admin team. I've been watching HS Football for over 30 years in this area. I do joke around on here but I don't spread fake news.
Have a Great Hump Day and lay off of GSO's Moonshine. Thats for his Goats and my girl friend right GSO?

Word in the Triad is only reason Greensboro high school won that state title was East had 7 D-1 players leave early in December for college . They won 2 in row if records serves correct ..I understand you are trying to make the situation seem worse than what it really is, because you hate Page. Page has had 2 ADs in the past 33 years. Rolfes came in and had a Dual threat QB that had just had a very nice freshman year on varsity, his sophomore year under Rolfes wasn't great and things got worse on offense because he failed to develop him his Jr and Sr year. Rolfes did a bang up job at developing talent and putting them in the right environment and positions on the field to succeed. His first year at Page was a "success" if you want to call a 2nd round exit a success because that team had crazy talent, and he still failed to capitalize on it.
