The MC guys here say same next year as this for the HC.

Wouldn't be surprised at all. Thought this was Chambers last real big year. With the NIL, and these big payments to recruits we could easily see guys skipping their senior years becoming a reality. Chambers has won at an incredible rate.

OK how will they keep up with that?? Right now if you move into district you are good to go. A lot of apartments in Charlotte. But in all seriousness if no one transfers/moves who will be the team to beat in Charlotte???

Yeah I say good luck with keeping track of that lol. 2010-2013 I lived in the area where Mathews and southeast Charlotte ran together. There were school buses from Butler and East Meck picking up kids on the same block. Indy and Providence had bus stops about a mile away in opposite directions of that particular location. I know the north and northwest parts of Charlotte-Meck is probably worst than that now.

If no one leaves, it is going to. be hard to beat Mallard Creek in the fall....I am hearing and from what Mr. Nepsy said above, they might have the most talented team in the area, along with Vance's offense being loaded in the fall.

It only takes one kid on your program to get popped to jeopardize the entire team. Not a lot of people actually moving into the school zones. They're just turning in faulty paper work in staying at their actual residence. The recruiting has already started. I'm curious if the parents are willing to take the risk of their kid getting 365 and games forfeited.

The first of December is regarded to be the start of the recruitment season. No one cared in the past because of all the traveling. Infact someone once said it's called freedom of living in America. The answer was that parents were relocating due to job opportunities. No one seemed to mind and even encouraged it. People in Charlotte have frequently stated that if my child is this tall and tough and wants to attend a winning program, he will. No one seemed to mind and even encouraged it. Then, in Charlotte, the same folks claimed that parents recruit other parents to relocate. No one seemed to mind and even encouraged it. Then someone said, "This is America." Here, we have complete mobility. If a parent wants their child to attend a different school, they can make the necessary arrangements. No one seemed to mind and even encouraged it.

Suddenly, this subject is coming to the fore as a huge concern and warning. Why?

Because charlotte schools have been dominating NCHS football recently. The top charlotte programs tend to see movement of players/students in both directions. Most Charlotte high schools lose more players than they get. CMS has a new AD that seems like she will make more effort to verify/check on t he player movement.

Which is what should have happened in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve arrived.
They have cracked down. A bunch really. The issue is not recruiting, its not coaches, its not players, its PARENTS. Parents legally move their children into certain schools who have good football programs, that have good band programs, that have excellent teachers, excellent wrestling, excellent principal. etc etc. They are making legal moves into apartments, relatives homes, new homes, and 2dn residency homes. The PARENTS are doing this in the best interest of their child. How do you police that if its a legal move? Thats the question. Folks have figured the system out in making legit moves, and making moves before 9th grade to avoid scrutiny. Used this example before. My nephew attended Richmond County, Mallard Creek, and then Richmond County again and no one cared because he didn't play football. Had he been a football player Mallard Creek and Richmond both would have been called cheats. Know parents who son is great musician. Didn;t get into Northwest, but now attends Hickory Ridge in Cabarrus County. More of this stype of stuff goes on moreso than football. But folks solely focus on football as its the money maker.

So how does the mentality in Charlotte, NC go from F*k The System to "We Better Listen" during the changing of the guard?

I can see Mallard Creek being really good next year if they don’t lose players to other schools. Besides Butler I wonder who they have on their non conference schedule.

Big daddy hits it 100%. You may stop some egregious stuff but the bulk of it is legal moves of parents. This is life now......Mom and Dad rent for a year, maybe it cost them $40k out of pocket to save $ 360k.

Now, most are delusional as the parents of the Creek kids that bolted found out. Hackett gone Ferbee gone and zero offers. But hey....its only $$$

Btango, WC will definitely increase roster size.... Likely MC too. Possibly Butler, but winners are WC, and MC.

I hear it may be a HUGE name "going home."
Yeah he has a family legacy there. Its where many of us thought he would go after middleschool. Where he was destined to go since birth. Ill stop there but we on same page.... Folks are gonna go crazy but dont understand the true dynamics.
