Michigan State fans looked very dejected after the game. Not the kind of reaction you would expect from a team that just had come from behind victory. What gives?

You really need someone to explain why to you? I would have been pissed if I was an Michigan State fan also. They have much higher aspirations than we do, and close victories over two of the bottom dwellers of the B1G two weeks in a row does not bode well for them.

Kind of like our fans after Kansas - who did not think win convincingly enough.

Guys

You don't get their mentality right now

They won the rose and cotton bowl the last two years...they are playing to win a national title

It's very tense...especially for a program trying to elevate to get there for the first time as opposed to bama, ohio state, etc who have been there a lot

You only get so many shots and they thing this is there time so everything little thing matters

Yeah..... Sparty has a boatload of injuries, especially in the trenches. They had several players playing out of position Saturday night. I'm surprised there weren't any flubbed Center-QB exchanges by the Spartans last night.

Sparty fans I know are very disappointed at all the injuries, and come next week if the Wolverines beat the Spartans, many MSU fans will chalk-up the loss to the injuries.

It sucks for MSU to have all those injuries, and I hope for a speedy recovery for all the injured Spartans. I really would prefer to beat the Spartans when they are at full strength.

They've had a lot of injuries, we've had a lot of suspensions. It's a wash.

Based upon how they fared against us, they dropped further in the standings. No longer in top 4, so that's not good for them.

I think MSU is going to show up at the Big House but that Lunatic Michigan coach is doing hell of a Job and they have talent.

Every team has injuries this time of year. How many starters is RU missing when the dismissals are factored into the equation?

And they were playing with a phenomenal, experienced qb, going up against a team who's top defensive lineman is out for the year, 4 defensive players recently kicked off the team, and who's qb is playing in his first year, gaining experience and improving each week. I really thought that they believed they would be able to throw at will on us, build up a 3 TD lead, and play the game out. (The MSU qb made some amazing throws, and their receivers some remarkable catches, even the one after the slight/somewhat/openly obvious push off on the play that went for a TD (BTN crew said he pushed off, his hands were on the db when he changed direction and got separation going towards the end zone). I don't think they thought Carroo would have a field day against their defense after not practicing for 3 weeks, considering our 2nd best receiver was sitting on the bench (go figure).
