I was at the 6 OT game
So was I. Was just going to post how incredible that game was . However the 6 OT game ranks 2nd for me believe it or not. I was lucky to be at Duke Kentucky game withLaettner miracle shot at Spectrum in March 1992. Last second decision to go as I was offered tickets the day before thru a business colleague and the rest is history. Glad I went ! 👍

I loved the numerous times when the Eastern Regional was held at the Meadowlands. The reason? RU was the host school and RU STHs were able to buy tix at face value... and the seats were pretty good!

Off the top of my head, the most memorable games involved Oklahoma State. In the 1995 Sweet 16, Bryant "Big Country" Reeves led the Cowboys to an upset victory over No. 1 seed Wake Forest, with Tim Duncan and Randolph Childress. IIRC, Duncan had more than 20 rebounds.

The best game, by far, was OSU's win over St. Joseph's in the Elite 8 in 2004. I was really pulling for the Hawks. Prior to its defeat to OSU, St. Joe's only loss that season was to Xavier in the A-10 tourney.

Look at those beautiful block R's on the court!!! 😎

Mike,

As an RU STH I was at the 95 Eastern Regionals at the Meadowlands as well. Big Country Reeves was a big time college player in those days.

Great memories in the Thurs-Sat doubleheader with RU as the host school. Ahh the memories!

My Dad took me. It was awesome. RIP.
Really tough to replicate UConn-Clemson and UConn-Duke in that Regional. I scored tickets by answering the 3 required questions when I called the UCLA ticket office. Name of Pauley, name of library and another. I pulled that off a few times. That Laettner shot was the second most famous. Calhoun chose not to guard the out of bounds.

I listened to the Clemson UConn game in a car in New Haven on tenter hooks. I lived in New Haven at the time and was rooting hard for Calhoun and UConn.

Ace posted a video a few days ago working out in a Rutgers shirt. Im always superstitious as well, but for now seems we don't need to worry.
Yeah. You can never say never in recruiting. But the fact that his best friend is coming here ahead of him has to be a factor here. If Ace bails, he’s not just bailing on Rutgers. He’s bailing on his best friend too.
