Tuck will get MSU _ _cked?
Another high profile recommendation gone bad?
Maryland dodged a bullet. Maybe MSU can hire Durkin? He was on the short list when Locksley was hired at Maryland...
"Tucker went 20-14 over four seasons. His tenure was highlighted by an 11-2 season and a Peach Bowl win in 2021. But Tucker’s other two complete seasons were below-.500 years."Something like this …
Of course his lawyer would say that.Lawyer Robert Barnes said the case against Tucker is sketchy and MSU is just trying to get out of paying him millions
It’s quite possible he’ll get nothing unless someone proves that money changed hands (or she received some other measurable benefit) to deliberately set him up. I highly doubt that happens but nothing would surprise me.

don't think Barnes is involved, just a lawyer putting his opinion out thereOf course his lawyer would say that.
I hope he finishedThat's the most expensive phone sex call ever made!

Everyone recommends their friends and colleagues so that’s not new lol. That’s why you take any comments from those sources with some grains of salt whether it’s UM or Saban or whomever. You still have to do due diligence and see if those person has the capability.
MSU will be better off financially and if they get someone like Elko or Klieman or Leipold they could be in better shape than with Tucker. Read Elko would be on NW’s list too. Will B10 money be enough to lure some out of their current confines, we’ll see.
Maybe he’s friends with belveal !!don't think Barnes is involved, just a lawyer putting his opinion out there
even though he's not part of what's going on.
Tucker has Jennifer Belveal representing him
Mel- keep both hands on the phone when talking to your lawyer, and admit to nothing else. Interesting background and bio highlights for his lawyer;don't think Barnes is involved, just a lawyer putting his opinion out there

The buyout is 6M if they want him, while not cheap it’s doable.Only in his 2nd year as HC my guess is Leipold has a pretty expensive buy-out.
“Probably” got set up? Oh jeez.Probably got set up, and he fell for it. Mich St didn't see the future being bright with this guy
That's the most expensive phone sex call ever made!
Eww.They caught Mel red-handed. He really got himself in a sticky situation. What a mess!
Michigan State is making a tough call here. They know given recent history of their athletic department, their is very little room for a drawn out process. Interestingly, one has to wonder if there was a similar history at Rutgers whehter the national news would focus on shutting down all athletics here (but give Michigan State and others a pass).

Mel should not have admitted to pleasuring himself. He should have said he was busy chopping wood!!!"Clean up in aisle 5!"

Leipold and Klieman are good choices and worth the buyout, but if they’re not interestedThe buyout is 6M if they want him, while not cheap it’s doable.
Klieman’s buyout is also 6M.
I expect there could be a settlement but nowhere in the neighborhood of what was left on his contract. I think 77M was left. He’s wasting his time. It doesn’t matter. They highlighted 2 clauses in the contract. And I doubt there’s a statute of limitations stipulated in the contract. The public leaking of the information made it such that Michigan State couldn’t sit on the contract violation any more. Optically they had to take action and initiate fire for cause. Just because they didn’t act in March doesn’t mean they aren’t allowed to act on it later. He violated the contract.
I’ve seen Matt Campbell mentioned and for sure he’d take it given his fallen star of late but don’t know if MSU will look in that direction because of the recent backslide. This year partly due to the gambling stuff.Leipold and Klieman are good choices and worth the buyout, but if they’re not interested
Two more
Matt Campbell, Iowa State , this might be the year he decides to get out of there if he can. But his 7-6 in 2021 and 4-8 record in 2022 might have made him fall from a top prospect to a pretty good gamble
Shawn Clark, Appalachian State, he’s running a respected program and only a matter of time before one of the big boys goes after him
Why? They have telephones in Colorado. He should have stayed at Colorado![]()
It was a reference to a recent item in the news from Colorado involving genital stimulation. Why? They have telephones in Colorado.
I could see it settling for $2.5 M or so for this reason. The school isn’t forking over a material portion of the contract.OK so MSU declared their intent, and Mel responded. Now they BOTH need to do the smart thing, which is lock themselves in a room for a few hours and reach a confidential settlement which is somewhere between 40-60% of what's left on the contract. They can both walk away happy, because neither wants this drawn out - MSU because it just reinforces what a cesspool of sexual deviance it's been and continues to be, and for Mel to let everyone hear the details of what an idiot scumbag he is, and prevent further embarassment to his family. $30M ain't too shabby to go away and disappear.
I'd be surprised if MSU agreed to anything beyond low double digits but we'll see.I could see it settling for $2.5 M or so for this reason. The school isn’t forking over a material portion of the contract.
