His exit at Utah has seemed odd this whole time, felt like he was pushed out.
Mmmm. You ever watched Sister Wives? Google Warren Jeffs. He was captured at Lewis and Clark Lake near Yankton SD. Seems to me like a Mormon might be a great fit at MeCheatin.Michigan needs to think this through. What will all the thieves, cheaters, and sluts in administration do when a the mormons are in charge?
As late as this is, I think they’re probably looking for a low cost short term solution to steady the ship. Minter probably wants a longer guaranteed contract. Not the direction I thought they’d go. I would have thought Minter
He’s also poised for a playoff runAs late as this is, I think they’re probably looking for a low cost short term solution to steady the ship. Minter probably wants a longer guaranteed contract.
So he was the smart one! HaMmmm. You ever watched Sister Wives? Google Warren Jeffs. He was captured at Lewis and Clark Lake near Yankton SD. Seems to me like a Mormon might be a great fit at MeCheatin.. I kid. I’ve had some Mormon friends over the years and they were good people. One did ditch his wife and kids though…,,
That wasn’t the hire I thought they would get .
Interesting, Wouldn’t be the worst choice.

To me it feels more like a buzz Wolverine fanboys are creating to make the Michigan job seem more attractive than it really is.I am sure the money is great but KW is an old dude, rich, and never had to put up with annoying media questions or fans. Wolf fans think the invented football.
This sounds like a 3 year type of deal with neither side ending up all that happy.
The only is about getting a nfl guy is the timing. Pretty sure you have to wait for the conclusion of tje NFL season which for San Diego is always going to be Playoffs most likely. If they were going this short term route ( KW is 66) should have just stuck with Biff and make a run at someone next year.As late as this is, I think they’re probably looking for a low cost short term solution to steady the ship. They have struck out on everyone else, it seems. To me it feels more like a buzz Wolverine fanboys are creating to make the Michigan job seem more attractive than it really is.
Penn State tried to hire ElkoIf I were Michigan, I'd do whatever it took to hire Mike Elko. Nobody wants to be at Texas A&M. He's probably the best coach available that isn't already at a blue blood and highly likely to want to no longer be where he is. Maybe we can get him on our next round.

This is not a bad take at all.If I were Michigan, I'd do whatever it took to hire Mike Elko. Nobody wants to be at Texas A&M. He's probably the best coach available that isn't already at a blue blood and highly likely to want to no longer be where he is. Maybe we can get him on our next round.
Oh ****, he is 66? I thought he was 60. Dang. The only is about getting a nfl guy is the timing. Yeah, hope he Scott Frost's it.I hope they don’t get him. But if they do I hope his heart just isn’t in it anymore.
I’m sure he lost half his stuff though so I’m not sure how smart he was. He’s an anesthesiologist in his late 60s and still working …So he was the smart one! Ha
Oh ****, he is 66? I thought he was 60. Dang.
Penn State is a lateral move at best from aTm. Michigan is a step up.
I was thinking the same thingGreat hire if it happens. I think he fits their mold perfectly.
And hey. Now his guys wont be playing to send coach out with a win before retirement.
And he gets a lot of money.Seems all but official now.
Michigan will look like they did with Harbaugh but only during his first few years...not the playoff/NC years.
Then he will be "retiring"...prediction time
He is there for 4 seasons and gets them one playoff appearance and a first round loss.
This is exactly who I said nebraska should have hired. When we hired matt rule. That wasn’t the hire I thought they would get .
Interesting, Wouldn’t be the worst choice.
AgreedThis is exactly who I said nebraska should have hired. When we hired matt rule.
Way better fit. way better coach
We’ll see who’s the better coach on December 31.This is exactly who I said nebraska should have hired. When we hired matt rule.
Way better fit. way better coach
It's not...
Yeah, lotto ticket time! And he gets a lot of money.
I think Trev had a weird complex about how NU could/should get...This is exactly who I said nebraska should have hired. When we hired matt rule.
Way better fit. way better coach
IF I was him, I would make them establish a 529 fund for my grandkids in lieu of some of the salary. He doesn’t need the money and will lose at least 30-40% of it to taxes. Grandkids would be the only reason I would take the Michigan job at that age.And he gets a lot of money.
