Michigan needs to think this through. What will all the thieves, cheaters, and sluts in administration do when a the mormons are in charge?
Mmmm. You ever watched Sister Wives? Google Warren Jeffs. He was captured at Lewis and Clark Lake near Yankton SD. Seems to me like a Mormon might be a great fit at MeCheatin. 😏. I kid. I’ve had some Mormon friends over the years and they were good people. One did ditch his wife and kids though…,,

I am sure the money is great but KW is an old dude, rich, and never had to put up with annoying media questions or fans. Wolf fans think the invented football.

This sounds like a 3 year type of deal with neither side ending up all that happy.

I've known two Mormons well in my life. One was a fraternity brother who broke every Mormon rule in the book on a regular basis. Smoking, drinking, drugs, gambling, banging chicks, etc. Pretty much you name the "sin" and he did it. The other was a girl who was about as big of a wh*re as they get. She was a lot of fun. Both were great people but yeah, there are clearly varying degrees for sure.

Going to be an interesting week in SLC with this news. I’m guessing the planning for the ceremonial goodbyes for their beloved coach have come to a screeching halt if he’s going to leave for UM. Stay tuned! lol.

To me it feels more like a buzz Wolverine fanboys are creating to make the Michigan job seem more attractive than it really is.

Whit would be a great, short term bandaid hire. Three years to clean up the dysfunction, be monogamous, and play fair.

If I were Michigan, I'd do whatever it took to hire Mike Elko. Nobody wants to be at Texas A&M. He's probably the best coach available that isn't already at a blue blood and highly likely to want to no longer be where he is. Maybe we can get him on our next round.

As late as this is, I think they’re probably looking for a low cost short term solution to steady the ship. Minter probably wants a longer guaranteed contract.
The only is about getting a nfl guy is the timing. Pretty sure you have to wait for the conclusion of tje NFL season which for San Diego is always going to be Playoffs most likely. If they were going this short term route ( KW is 66) should have just stuck with Biff and make a run at someone next year.

They have struck out on everyone else, it seems.
Now they are going to have to convince themselves that hiring a 60 year old coach that really never did as much as people seem to think. His is 500 in Pac 12 games...

I don't know, I never really understood the love for the guy.

This is not a bad take at all.

AM is a school that literally never does anything but they are crazy. Michigan seems less crazy.

I hope they don’t get him. But if they do I hope his heart just isn’t in it anymore.
Yeah, hope he Scott Frost's it.

Thats a new tee shirt if you ask me.

Anyways, whatever Michigan is doing, I'm sure it involves lying, cheating and deceit.

Great hire if it happens. I think he fits their mold perfectly.

And hey. Now his guys wont be playing to send coach out with a win before retirement.

Seems all but official now.

Michigan will look like they did with Harbaugh but only during his first few years...not the playoff/NC years.

Then he will be "retiring"...prediction time

He is there for 4 seasons and gets them one playoff appearance and a first round loss.

This is exactly who I said nebraska should have hired. When we hired matt rule.

Way better fit. way better coach
I think Trev had a weird complex about how NU could/should get...

He was stuck in this stupid mindset that NU needed some weird "program builder" and also clearly did not have the foresight (probably foreskin though, gross) to see that do not need a dorky builder but you need a coach that knows how to get talent.

I really do think Trev forgets the type of players that made NU ******* amazing.

And he gets a lot of money.
IF I was him, I would make them establish a 529 fund for my grandkids in lieu of some of the salary. He doesn’t need the money and will lose at least 30-40% of it to taxes. Grandkids would be the only reason I would take the Michigan job at that age.
