I worked a tip job for years out of college and it was all cash (was a bellman at a nice hotel). Understood that as we move more and more cashless that some jobs are seeing tips more and more on their check.
THE POLLING DISCONNECT: On the one hand, polls show Republicans dominating on every single key issue that Americans care about by nearly double digits.
On the other hand, they show Democrats leading the generic ballot by double digits.
The RNC is experiencing record fundraising. The DNC is broke.
Conservative media is prospering, while liberal media is laying off staff.
The Democrat Congress has their worst ever approval rating.
All of these things cannot be true at the same time.
You cannot have America preferring the GOP on the top issues, but then wanting to elect Democrats.
Something's got to give here.

Here's the thing guys. Republicans are going to win the midterms, and I'll tell you why.
First of all, Trump is going to turn it into a presidential election. He's going to hold a full-blown convention. That's never been done before for the midterm. I promise you MAGA is going to turn out at presidential election levels!
Second, all of these generic ballot polls are a waste of time. What you really need to look at is the issue polls.
Who is leading on the kitchen table issues that matter to Americans?
It's always been the economy, stupid, and it will always be the economy, stupid.
Republicans currently have huge leads on national security, crime, immigration, economy, inflation. These are the issues people are going to vote on in November.
At the end of the day, it always comes back to the issues.

see here's a little bit of a different view. ..you seem to have this inherent need to criticize everything Trump or the administration does even before you see what the results might be. That's kind of a different perspective in life. Not everything the Trump admin does is either bad or good - same with Biden, same with Obama, same with every president. In this case Iran has been a thorn in the side of just about every nation in the world for decades - and that's before they have a nuclear capability. Can you even think far enough out to the point where they have nuclear weapons and how they would deal with the rest of the world?
We have the ability to stop them in their tracks. It might seem negative now, but in the long run the actions could make Iran a much better citizen of the world, really settle down the middle East, bring down the cost of oil worldwide etc. So This action is giving the Iranaians the opportunity to take back their country from the theocrats. How will all this end? That's what we should be thinking about. If the end result is just another theocracy or dictatorship then, you'll be right, this was an unnecessary event that put our forces at risk.

You missed the mark. I am criticizing those who never even consider the possibility that something trump does should be scrutinized.
Something tells me if they go with a theocracy, Trump will just take them out again. The Americans (CIA) will have heavy influence on who takes the reigns of power there.

Similarly, all the criticisms from both ruling and opposition party members need to be scrutinized. All these parties have agenda, and these might not necessarily be the agendas of the majority of Americans. Look at SAVE act for example. If polls are correct about 80% of Americans support it, but opposition party is about 100% opposed

Because he's a lesser known name than AOC is. Not many people know about Shapiro outside of PA because he doesn't get in the headlines as much as AOC. He's also not been an attack target from those on the right so he doesn't get nearly as much airtime as someone like AOC/Tlaib/etc would.

A lot can change between now and the mid terms (let alone by 2028), but of that list of candidates, Shapiro is the only viable candidate. The others are either losers or would be eviscerated.
Shapiro would actually garner interest and maybe even support by independent and moderate Republican voters
