This is something I've long attacked posters on the right for doing and I guess I got caught up in it yesterday and failed to do my due diligence like I normally do - my bad. But for the record, my thoughts on this war echo what national security expert Tom Nichols said:

People celebrating: "Maybe wanna wait a bit. The odds, historically, are definitely not on your side. Anyone certain they know what happens next is making it up.”

Just because you (or I) don't know it doesn't mean that there isn't a plan. Its not goig to be announced!

We're on day 2 and and we're going to be smoking IRGC for the next few weeks. Regime change to "normal" would be the best outcome, and IMHO we/israel are going to try and help that along. However maybe the help we're willing to give doesn't get the job done. If it doesnt, then at least Iran will be so degraded that their capacity for shennanigans will be much, much, much less. I'm also of the opinion that after this, Israel's Mossad will be more active and more effective in Iran going forward.
