Plenty of Delta 9 on the shelves. Make the switch, you’ll think me. Hopefully the prohibition on Delta 9 that goes into effect this fall (push be alcohol lobby) will be overturned.

This isn't a new issue. I've been hearing the same things from Starkville liquor stores for about the last 5 years. They place an order and have to take what they are given from that order, and the remainder goes on back order for one other delivery cycle. If ABC says they didn't get it again during that backorder cycle, the backorder is cancelled and the store then has to re-order completely because the backorder is dropped and cancelled.

They further get screwed when lets say the week they get their backorder cancelled, the item does come in. Another store that hasn't been on the backorder list as long and has the same item backordered then they get the shipment because their backorder hasn't been cancelled yet because it hasn't been on the list as long. Sounds like a 17ed up way to order things. ABC has a new warehouse being built in Canton and software coming but it isn't going live until later in the year.

Yes, they’ve always been inefficient (govt work) but this is a new issue as they rolled out some new procedures/systems at the warehouse that have been a disaster.

I can't think of a worse way to handle alcohol sales than that system.

Delta 9 is the real deal, I believe you are talking about delta 8. And honestly the last time I smoked Delta 8 it was so good I couldn’t even really tell the difference. Gotta buy it the flower though, not the pre rolled.

This issue isn't going to get better until September, and that's a maybe. The model is a bad model and hurting MS consumers by limiting access and driving up prices.
Not the BOOZE!!!!

It hasn’t been going on for five years; that was going on during covid which lasted for about a year. I was telling one of my employees how things had improved under Ruan and a week later all of this **** hit the fan. Ruan actually did a good job as far as i could tell but i am comparing it to when the State was trying to run the warehouse so the bar wasn’t very high.
The decisions lately that have been made by everyone involved is so next level idiotic that I am speechless. The homeless guy that hangs around near our store would know better than to install software without testing it and then breaking down the conveyer belts and drag around a pallet jack trying to put an order together. Maybe John Cohen hired these 17’ers.

Repeat after me, i have anxiety and trouble sleeping. “Well yes sir, a medical marijuana card is just what you need”
According to MS guidelines, you can't get it for that. But, we all know you can.
By the way, here's a nice article folks might Juana read:

I am not a cannabis user, but Americans have been smoking that crap since 19th Century Virginian tobacco growing mixed it with its tobacco to give it a different aroma. Not until it became legal, we started to have problems. I am having trouble believing that. Theres some other BS going on. Not coming at you just saying what I think about the warning.

Yes.....alcohol (both beer and liquor) sales are tanking.

There will always be a segment of the population that is against it plus we know whether it's weed or alcohol both cause potential health issues so there is your baseline "against" population.....now add Big Liquor and the pols start to listen. Follow the money as always.

I’m nearing 60 and have vague memories of the late 70s. MJ was pretty common back then (judging by my older siblings), it really didn’t become taboo until Ronnie's war on drugs. Of course people were smarter back then and kept it on the down low (unlike today).

That is Fox News, the media company that defended itself under oath that their content is opinion or "entertainment" rather than factual, literal news reporting, and then settled claims that they lied for about $800 million. I give them zero credibility as a source of news. But they can be entertaining from time to time, I'll give them that. So maybe this is a BS story. Who knows? It's Fox News.

So what reasonable excuse could anyone give to have the state be in charge of alcohol distribution, other than the money? The state is run by a majority of politicians who would swear on the bible that they are small government conservatives, but don't support the government getting out of what should be a for profit business.
