I hate to hear that. Feel for those guys especially seniors missing any games during this shortened season. Pretty sure that gets the Heritage game as well.
Yeah, well I'm not a coach and dont have a kid in middle school so it's not really my thing especially since we stopped being able to compete for the Toe River Conference because we combined it was stupid and its hurting our program so there you have it

Anybody on here seen Smokey? I dont know if they're up or down this year, hard to judge them by Madison its looking like another down year for them looking at their roster, Smokey looked ok on the frenzy but like I said it was a very young Madison team dont know yet how we'll square up with them
Robbinsville scrimmaged Smoky 2 weeks ago. When Robbinsville had ALL their starters in ,the Black Knights dominated them
I'd sure hope not. Would be crap to punish teams for something they can't help like that.
If it doesn't count as a loss...then it could be rewarding them(bc I'd say odds of them beating mountain heritage are slim). This year playoff births are based on conference win percentages. I feel bad for them but with 5 conference games...a 2 and 2 record could get u in the last of 6 wild card spot based on 50percent winning percentage but with a 2 and 3 record definitely wouldn't make playoffs. I know it's a lot of ifs. But it could benefit Avery for above reasons not playing mountain heritage..Im sure fans and players would rather play but it could benefit there playoff chances not playing them.

Murphy will probably get some maroon on their cleats when they run over swain.
I dont know why but I always think Murphy when I hear Maroon always have I guess cause of Swain it sticks in my head plus they're Bulldogs we were Bulldogs in middle school and we were moroon brainfart

Hey there man! I think this year will be the closest it's been since 14, when Mitchell held Jager to under 100 yards (only time that year) but still lost. Should be a dandy next week. You gonna try and make it?
We lost a few linemen and a good receiver but return our Qb, rb, fb several recievers and a Jv that went 9-1 with several sophomores playing up on Varsity. We return more proven players than you guys do plus your JV was a little underwhelming. Travis will get the most out of his kids and I think it will be a good game. Just think we will come out on top this year.
Mountie I plan to be there as long as I can get a ticket. It should indeed be a good game. Y’all woke our team up last year and we have been different ever since. It also didn’t help that our second best linemen missed the Mitchell game last year due to an ejection from the Franklin game. As you know 1 or 2 players off of a 30 man roster in a small school can be huge. I would have liked to seen us at full strength last year but even at that point in the season we were very inconsistent and most times were just going through the motions. You just can’t do that with a team with as much talent as Mitchell had last year. Anyway I feel like we are way ahead of where we were at this point in the season compared to last. Time will tell. I really don’t think Avery or Polk is in the conversation this year. I think Hoilman is great but nothing much around him and I think Polk is a year away. Plus both of their jvs have been horrible for some time now. Owen-Mitchell is for the chance at the WHC championship vs Heritage
I expect to see some good games. I hope and pray all the teams stay healthy. With a shortened season as it is I don't want any of these kids having to miss any games.
I hope for a good game, Owen being better does nothing but help the conference.

I think they called it targeting but he didn’t lead with his head. It was his shoulder and it wasn’t blind side because he hit him in front. Actually they called him defenseless. Heck yeah he was no match for Jaylin but to me that was a football play
Yeah me too. I remember the wlos guys saying it looked clean also, on the frenzy.
